Staff was friendly and kind. I just wish they were able to do more than a routine check up. They add extra and unneeded charges…. I would recommend going somewhere else if you need more than just a check up.

Brought my cat in because she was showing some distressing signs (blood around nose and heavy breathing) was told she had a chronic illness and bacterial infection and they gave me some sort of oral medication for her. Gave it to her for three days and she died. Was never told that would be something that could happen. They made it sound like she just had some congestion in her nose and taking the medication would fix it. It didn’t and now I don’t have my cat anymore. Anytime I called with concerns I was just told to monitor her and call if I had any questions. Also at one point tried calling at 1pm and it kept going straight to voicemail saying their hours are from 8am-8pm so why is it going to voicemail? If you guys are busy just put me on hold. But my cats dead now and all they said when I told them is they offer cremation services as well, no condolences no nothing. Sorry I already gave you a bunch of money just for none of it to help my poor girl so I will not be using them. They should make owners aware of the severity of the situation instead of making it seem like it’s not a big deal when clearly it was. I had heard good things about this place but I am severely dissatisfied

I am very grateful that I could get my cat in on very short notice. Unfortunately, I had to make the very difficult decision to euthanize her. The vet tech was great but the vet we saw could work on her bedside manner. Maybe she was nervous? When she made comments about my cat, she made little "heh" giggle sounds at the end sentences. She came across as happy at times, too friendly sounding for the situation. She was nice otherwise but it made a difficult experience even harder for me.

After already bringing a sick kitten in and getting no help, prescription or guidance, we tried to schedule another appointment as it was getting worse and was told we couldn’t bring her in till mid October and all other vets in the area were booked apparently. That kitten died today and I consider every vet in eau Claire responsible. You get into this job to help animals and then all you worry about are your schedules and any inconvience to yourself. Probably would’ve misdiagnosed the kitten anyway. RIP Shadow the kitten. She was better than every person there.

Took my cat in for a physical. They were so caring and wanted to make sure I understood before I left. Very sweet, yet professional. I am so blessed to have this visit to get her established with a vet.

Super nice and knowledgeable people from the doctors to the front desk staff. They always want to see pictures of your pets.
One star off because they don’t work with online pharmacies. You have to get a written prescription from them and mail it. I don’t understand why they can’t just fax it to the place when they call to verify prescription.

I’m so happy we found this vet. The staff has an incredibly positive and kind energy about them, and it shows in the way they treat both the pets and their owners. They are gentle, friendly, and informative. I feel very good knowing that our cat will continue to receive their care :)

Dr. Margaret was amazing during our dogs emergency. We had brought our dog to the 24/7 animal hospital across the street from Oakwood and was quoted a price of $11,000 to perform the emergency surgery she required to save her life. We found Oakwood was open and called to explain the situation and asked for pricing. They were able to complete the surgery for 1/5 of the price. Dr. Margaret went above and beyond for our dog and the special circumstance we were in. I cannot say enough wonderful things regarding the care provided. Additionally, they were very compassionate when we had several questions as our dog recovered in the following week. 2 weeks post op, and she is like her normal self again!
