Before 10/9/2024 They were great. If I had an emergency they took my pet in the same day. Never had a problem. Been taking my pets there for 20 + years.
I on 10/9/2024 I had an emergency. They turned me away. Referred me to an "emergency "clinic that charges $1450 for exam, intravenous fluids pancreatic test, x-rays and blood test , also antibiotics... for a virus?? Paid them for that. Pet not improving and getting worse. I got attitude by the person answering the phone the last day my pet was alive when trying to euthanize my pet. By then I was upset, pet suffering for 2 days now, Maybe she was tired of me calling after two days.
NO SYMPATHY. My pet suffered for two + days. Went somewhere else and had my pet put to sleep there AFTER ONE CALL .and canceled appt I made for procedure at NSPH. Kindness Animal Hospital at least were nice and understanding and was an hour earlier. Most importantly SYMPATHETIC
At NSPH schedule your emergencies ahead of time.
NSPH you have lost your way.

They are very very good they tell you what is going to be going to happen to your pet and if you ask how much will the bill be they will tell you how much it would be...

My daughter paid for an unnecessary $300 blood panel before having her dog spayed. After a second opinion we ended up taking our dog elsewhere to be spayed for $200 cheaper then Northside Pet! The prices of this place are simply outrageous not to mention the dog belongs to a disabled woman on a fixed income!

this was the worst vet I have ever been to. The employees where very impolite and had a very bad communication skills. I was very disappointed with how my visit with the doctor went on how they communicated and commented on my questions. I was very judged as soon as I walked into the building. Over all the staff members that worked there made the overall experience the worst I have been in.

Northside Pet Hospital has seen my cat 3 times so far, two for illness and one as a wellness check. The doctors, nurses, and other staff have been very kind. The doctors are nurses were especially careful when my kitten was stressed and scared, and were very gentle when they handled him. Their prices seem very good, and I've even been able to get a quicker appointment by calling to check for new openings if needed. I plan to continue seeing them for any future issues with my pets.

Dr Menard and the other vets are caring and thorough. We’ve brought our fur babies to Northside for years. Their entire team is knowledgeable and really love animals.

Edit: The kindness, knowledge and patience we've experienced here is magnificent. You couldn't find better people to help you care for your non human loved ones ?. Reception, techs and vets are out of this world.
