Have not moved anything in yet but the overall process of setting up the storage unit was very easy and well done. Had a minor problem trying to finish everything online so i called and received great help getting everything set up. Everything was completed fast and easy. I am pleased. Thanks!

Been with them since 2021 when units we're reasonable but then they jacked up the prices every year. My unit doors has been broken since then and no one has been out to fix it. I had lost my job back in September of 2023 and it was hard financially, talked to Aaron one of the many district managers about my situation and he dropped all my late fees and Lein fees and took my unit out of auction. He talked about giving me a job there and was super nice. Then I call in February to get my stuff out of auction and finally get up to date. I get the run around finally I get ahold of Shaun another district manager 3 days before my unit goes up to action. He's a jerk and proceeds to tell me there is nothing they can do to get my stuff out of auction. Itold them there's a vehicle with no title and they won't make the money they want from it.
Then I get ahold of Aaron again and he acts like a jerk too. No recollection of what we talked about. He tells me the same thing then recommends I bid on my own stuff but then I would owe the whole balance still and would have to be out in 48 hours. Horrible costumer service. You’re better off renting from menards than these clowns.
Customer service doesn't exist here.

Rep was very good. I needed to provide insurance information had needed to call back . But he said he would call me back. And for once in this day and age , he did. And was very knowledgeable and took care of everything quickly..I e gave him 10 stars in my book.

Got a unheated 20 x 40 unit in Aug 2022. Moved to a heated 20 x 50 unit in October 2022 til Feb 2023. Even after i moved out they attempted to debit my account for 3 months despite calls to them. Then they started billing for utilities i wasnt using, etc. I make more calls and they say my acct is closed. A wek ago i get a hit on my credit report for over $1,800! Then i get a call from IC Systems collections. Find out it is for KO Storage! Spoke with corporate who sends me to site mgr. He says i owe $0 from what he can see in the system. Sends email to district mgr. He calks me saying i have an outstanding balance on a unit i wasnt in anymore! I moved out when other tenants started talking about shady billing practices and thefts occuring on the property. Snow plowing was rarely done in a timely fashion leaving tenants stuck and needing tow trucks to get out. I threatened legal action and the district mgr says he is going to fix it and have the erroneous debt cleared from my credit repott. So in short......shady business practices all around.

Recently rented a 20x48 unit with the 14x14 electric door. I do “tractor things” for people, this unit is great to store my trailer and implements. Also conveniently located on Highway 12 just east of Altoona. Russell the local manager was very helpful and responsive when I moved in. Big fan, great location nice clean storage with a wide apron for maneuvering.
