NEVER AGAIN!
My wife and I are retired and decided to take our nearly new camper to camping world in Eau Claire, WI to sell. We took it in at the very beginning of the season and had them list it on consignment.
Unfortunately, it did not go online for almost 3 weeks into prime time, due to ‘technical issues’. After our 90 day contract, we decided just to sell it to them outright. That is when things really went downhill.
All they needed to do, was send the payoff to the loan company. and cut us a check for the balance. They sent the loan payoff check, to the wrong department, at the wrong address, at the opposite side of the city. NOT the address and department that we had provided, in writing, on our paperwork.
THEN, they sent the entire amount to the loan company! Not just the payoff. Due to their errors we STILL have not received our payment. We signed the paperwork over 30 days ago; What was ‘supposed to be a couple of days has been over a month and counting!!!
There is no excuse for such poor customer service and management.
Camping world messed this up, and there is nothing we can do at this point, other than wait for the money we should have received a long time ago.

We were so impressed with the people and service department. At our first stop of our trip, our bedroom slide would not open correctly. The next morning we drove to the nearest Camping world on our way to see what they could do. The manager went and got a technician (Jason) and he started trying to fix it. It turned out to be more than a simple fix. We were on our way to an event, so we decided to keep going. They showed us how to manually open and close to keep us on our way.

We are from Washington State when we had a messy mishap with our travel trailer ending up at Camping World in Eau Claire, Wi. This has been one of the most helpful, professional, knowledgable, friendly, concerned for our well being, team of men & women employees we have ever met. Everyone from first day when we arrived has bent over backwards and more to help us. Each & every department from entering the front door to leaving has greeted us as family every day that we needed them. We are relieved with the positive results and care shown to us in time of uncertainty & worry. All has ended well. We will return to WA. ST. Most happy customers Bob & Linda McGregor

I bought a new camper from here last weekend. I will never make that mistake again. Camping world service sucks. I’ve had it back there longer than I’ve owned it. The sales process was long and gimmicky. I will be taking my camper for service somewhere else from now on.
Update: one year later service still sucks. I’ve had my camper there for two weeks with a broken fridge. Service determined the fridge needed to be replaced now they won’t call me back. Seems like such a simple thing to either tell me the extended warranty will cover the fridge or not and let me pick up my camper, but they make it complicated..

While on an RV roadtrip, we experienced electrical problems. We happened to be in Eau Claire and found the Camping World (I’m from north Georgia and bought my RV at Camping World in Chattanooga). An associate here dropped what he was doing and immediately looked for our problem which turned out to be a bad breaker. We were fixed and on our way in minutes! Thank you SO much to this wonderful gentleman!!!!

Pretty sad they sell several campers with lippert auto leveling systems but dont stock a jack motor. You have to order it. Real big help when someone is trying to go camping! The parts guy started they try to keep low inventory this is real helpful for customers. Usually things breake when they are using the camper not a week later!

I’m a complete noob to RV life and was struggling to figure out how to get my new camper to interact with my generator. I called the service department and spoke to Mike who told me to bring my camper in and he’d help me with a run-through to see what mistakes I was making. My words, not his. Mike hooked me up with Jason, a tech who helped get things running immediately. Jason also helped out with several other items I wasn’t worried about, but should have been and gave several recommendations on equipment to consider for upgrades. Both guys were great to work with and I can’t wait to work with them again.

I find it very unappealing that they had zero information about the campers on, in, or near them. No info on price, how many they sleep, weight, length, literally nothing. I don't want to have a sales person follow me around to ever camper to tell me information while looking at them. (Which they didn't do anyways) Trying to remember which campers we liked with no info was also really obnoxious. They definitely need to do better. The only reason I gave 2 stars is because I appreciate them having an indoor area to look at them and being open on a Sunday.

People are definitely living in some of the RVs in the parking lot.... if I were to buy one of those, I'd have them detail it to the bones before I agreed to buy it.

Can’t say enough about the crew in the service dept!! We didn’t purchase our RV here but that hasn't stopped them from bending over backward to help us resolve a few warranty concerns. Get ahold of Mike in Service for any and all issues you might have. He has a great team. Thanks for everything! We appreciate it ?

I can't say enough about the service team at CW- Eau Claire. We have had some bugs that needed to be worked out of our new camper. They have been very accommodating and even came to our campground after work on a Friday night to fix it. That is service! I was hesitant buying a camper from them because I typically have always favored the little guy. We just couldn't find what we wanted at any of these other locations. If this service continues, I will never look elsewhere.

Excellent Service was really good salesman was very well knowledged and management was very good and finance was real good I'll recommend it to anybody that I can that will drive that distance to get a camper . The people in service were really good at installing the things that we needed and take care of all the little problems we had.

Eau Claire Camping World has taken care of us before and after we purchased a new camper from them instead of a different Camping World that's closer to our where we live. Unfortunately, once we got home, our new camper had several small issues, which they took care of over the winter months. Well worth the drive to have Mike, Jamie and the service guys take care of our camper.

Any idiot can look at these reviews and see most are fake, or payed for. Even the response by owner is cut-and-paste. I was interested in a camper and they wouldn't even answer me about thier dealer fees. They said I have to come to the lot first. Giant red flag. Google search reviews on the web
