I worked for a veterinarian for many years when I was in my twenties and am very particular who I take my animals to. I saw good reviews of this clinic and have been going here for about 10 years now. We normally see Dr. Bohl but have also seen several of the other vets when she has not been in. Dr. Bohl treats you and your pets like family and truly cares about you and your pets. Recently had to put my senior cat Winston down and the EC Animal Clinic handles this with such finesse. This is the 3rd euthanasia I have been a part of at this clinic and they do it with such care and respect for you and your pet.
My cat Winston that just passed, had numerous health issues over the course of his lifetime and he had several dental surgeries as well as emergency care, my other cat recently was seen through the urgent care by Dr. Gooden. He was severly ill with Pancreatitis and she took extremely good care of him. I have had contact with several of the vet techs and they are all super friendly and professional.
Before switching to this clinic I compared prices and many clinics and they are all about the same when you average things out, what is not the same is the service and quality of care you will receive. Pretty much the entire staff knows me by name now and they are a great group of people. They care about animals and people!

Staff may be friendly, but policies lack common sense!! I have had two incidents for the same issue but today's wins the NO Common Sense Award. I called this morning to ask if I could refill their prescriptions for Carprofen, basically Ibuprofen for dogs. The prescription was written in 2023 for my black lab who is now 13 years and 6months old and has some issues with arthritis. There were two refills authorized and today would have been the first refill. I only give it to her when she over does it. I was first told since it was prescribed in 2023 the Vet would have to give another prescription. When I called 5 hours later to see if I could pick it up, I was told the vet who prescribed it was not in the office and no other Vet could authorize it and I would have to come in next week. Like all Labs, mine lives to hunt, even though now she may only be able to hunt for a couple of hours and then needs a little Carprofen and a day off. I will not be here next week and neither will the dog who will now have to get by without the Carprofen after she does what she loves best. When I complained that this made no sense at all I was told I could talk to the office manager next week as they were not in today. Did I mention the dog just had her annual "Wellness Visit" less then two months ago.

Thank you to the eau claire animal hospital team! Dr. Mather and her team were able to see my small parrot on short notice and knew exactly how to handle an exotic along with having the knowledge to treat her! They worked with my schedule and long drive time to the clinic, were very friendly and the cost was minimal to what I've payed at other vet offices! Thank you!

I just called to ask some simple advice regarding my dog and the receptionist was rude and sounded extremely judgemental. I love the vet doctors here but they really need to assess who they're putting on the phones since these are often times the first impression people get.

Absolutely annoying. Called to setup an appointment for my poor dog, who was bleeding from the crown of his tooth. We set up an appointment. We called the day before, saying we may be late, and they said it was fine, and to call before. And so we did, and then they said they were too overbooked to allow late-appointments! What the heck?!

I love coming in and seeing the friendly folks here and knowing my fur kids are being treated great! Carl and I look forward to seeing everyone when we come in and I'm confident in the care he receives.

The staff here are incredibly unprofessional. They will give you false amounts on quotes for procedures and then proceed to inform you, last minute, as you are dropping your beloved pet off for a surgery that the procedure will be significantly more than was ever mentioned on the quote. Would not recommend this to anyone - Highly recommend Westgate Animal Hospital instead.

We have taken both of our dogs here for years. The staff always remember us and are so kind and helpful! They provide great care to our two pooches and always provide helpful advice for any concerns.

This was honestly one of the worst vets I’ve been to. My appointments were constantly being moved around without my knowledge and I was treated with attitude and rudeness. They are disorganized and can’t own up to mixing up some else’s appointment with yours. Which happened 3 times with my cat. I did try to give them a chance to redeem themselves but each time I made a appointment there would be some kind of mix up even if I stressed about how much the appointment was needed.
