The store said they would price match Amazon if sold by Amazon and shipped by Amazon. Found a great deal on a Roomba sold by Amazon and shipped by Amazon. They checked the product ID everything matched and met the posted policy. They then said the deal was too good and it’s “bad business practice” to sell the product that low. I think a bad business practice is not honoring your own business policies. Probably won’t shop here again.

I helped my grandma buy a TV and at first the service was fine but then they started pushing stuff with their predatory tactics. They sold us a best buy membership with the promise that the price of the TV would drop and the 60 day price match would cover it. The price of the TV never dropped even a bit during those 60 days but of course a week later it was $50 cheaper and they wouldn't honor the promise we were told. Don't shop here unless you have to because they just want your money and will try everything in the book to get it.

Bought a fridge that was sold out from underneath me after paying for it. Was told I would be compensated for paying for money. Customer service stated that was a lie and they can’t compensate. So gas money going to pick up the fridge that was no longer there and have to pay $200+ more for a different one. Great job Best Buy will be taking my money elsewhere in the future.

Customer service is non-existent, all I could get was put on hold. Call center tells me that they are at my local store, they're not. I will not be back.

Liam is the guy. Walked in looking for a replacement TV on short notice, figured I’d have to settle for what was in stock, and it took him about 8 seconds to hook me up with exactly what I needed. The entire team was friendly and helpful.

The day I was there, they were out of a lot of items, and it's really hard to get assistance. I would have bought a lot more stuff, but they are really too busy to help you. This store was rather militant during the lockdowns, and I was actually escorted out and banned from there.

Purchase 2 dash camera plus aid for installation eau Claire does not have any so email Ed Lacrosse for 2 vehicle install drove 2 cars 130 miles was told it takes 1 and s half hours to install they said they only booked 1 hour and only 1 car told me to wait until later in the day and maybe could get to me so I wasted 500 miles and 10 hours of my time for nothing

Terrible customer service absolutely god awful. I get told by geek squad that everything is under warranty and it will be taken care of, I get an appointment setup then when I get there I get told they can’t do anything and I also get met with Brady and his terrible customer service

Best Buy Online Sales does not support it's promises to it's customers. Sadly, this is not related to Best Buy in Eau Claire, but there is no where to leave a review for Best Buy's Online specifically .
I had ordered an Open Box Excellent computer monitor during the Memorial Day 2024 sale, but it arrived with a baseball sized hole punched in the back of the display. The box was damaged and most of the packing material was missing from the inside which allowed the stand and power adaptor to tumble around the box during shipping. I assume this was the cause of the damage. I ended up calling customer service several times and spoke to two supervisors but, due to various 'policies' and a lack of a replacement, they said they could only do a refund. That same night, at least one Excellent condition replacement was listed on their website at a higher price. I thought it was reasonable to ask that they sell me the like-condition replacement at the same price of my original purchase. Nope. They said I could rebuy it at an increased price. No accommodation what-so-ever. All they would do is quote 'policy-this' and 'policy-that' about how they 'could' not do anything for me.
In the end, my experience was frustrating and disappointing. Now, I am also worried that the cherry on top could be 'are they going to blame me for the damage due to the lack of proper packaging in the box when they receive the return?" It would not surprise me...
Best Buy says on their website that "if you are not fully satisfied... let us help you with a replacement, return, or repair". Sure does not feel like they are working very hard to that promise.

MATT is the rudest manager I have ever dealt with, best buy must really need people to make matt a manager, overall I will never step into this store again and I will call there corporate office and file a complaint against him.
