Stylist: Amy is a curly girl and does a great job knowing how to cut curly hair perfectly! I have strayed from her believing what others say needing to go to a certified curly stylist and every time have been disappointed and go back to Amy who does a fantastic job! I will not stray again!!! I have been going to her for nearly 15 years and will continue! She has cut my kids hair as well and did equally fantastic!!!!

I am very disappointed in the lack of customer service I received. From the time I walked in the door I was not greeted by one person. After 10 minutes I asked if I had to sign in or something. Had my hair cut and colored. Color turned out great but the cut was not what I had asked for. I showed a picture and shared that I would like for it to be all one length. For some reason the hair dresser cut the two sides by my face shorter then the rest of my hair. When I asked her why they were chunking and sticking out she replied that she could fix it. After she was done, she stated "well if you don't like it you will have to let it grow out." A week later I called back to see if someone else could fix it, as to which I was told that I would have to go back to the same person. I stated that she tried to fix it and shared what the hair dresser told me in regards to you will have to let it grow out. That clearly tells me she cannot fix it, so why would I go back to her. Very upsetting and now will have to pay for someone else to fix it. Definitely would not recommend this place at all.

I had made a last minute, same day appointment, Michelle truly did go above and beyond for the result I hoped for and I am IN LOVE with how my hair turned out. Such a welcoming and warm environment, highly recommend!

Extremely unprofessional .. .My stylist has curly hair like mine and we agreed that this would be a great union. . .My consult included statements about curly perm options, moving the dark hair back to highlights and other options. . .it was at that point she treated me like a joke. She advised me that what I wanted would take "FOREVER". . yes. . I knew I had a long road to go. . .NEVER look at a perm given your hair. . .I should have left right then. . .There are professional salons that can treat hair with color, curls, blows and allow that customer to leave feeling amazing vs. feeling admonished for whishing for more. I left Above and Beyond Hair Salon feeling like an ugly duckling. . . not recommended to my friends at this time.Service: Hair colouring
