Very kind and helpful owner! Working in a tourist area is not easy, and many workers we encountered on our vacation didn't hide their frustration with tourism. However, this owner was cheerful, kind, and helpful. He answered our questions with a smile, and we will only spend our money here, the next time we visit. There are other shops in town we will avoid due to being treated like a bother.

Stopped here to my daughter a new fishing pole for her birthday. The gentleman working was very kind and interactive with my daughter. He gave us tips and tricks to help us catch some walleyes. He threw in a free sticker for my daughter too which she loved. Nice little sports shop with everything you need.

OMGRipped off Had him put line on a few reels. Didn’t realize at the time he put so little line on them. Make a cast I could see the base of the spools. I willNever go back!

Kinda new around here and have been talking to a lot of people, asking about where the panfish are biting, and you'd think I was asking where to dig the next gold mine haha ?. Some reason I didn't see Tadpoles until a couple weeks ago, I stopped in and finally was pointed in the right direction, had a nice aerator too that is still keeping minnows alive from that trip.

Bad bait. Bought bucket and bait there. 1 hr later on lake. Half were dead. Rest soon to follow. 68 degree day so heat not the issue.

Didn't buy anything, just stopped in to look around and gather some information about fishing in the area. Guy behind the counter, believe it was the son of the owner, very friendly and great conversations as we talked for about 30-45 minutes.
