Staff are great and felixible if appointment times need to be changed. Always smiling and friendly. Dr. Mark is very thorough and will take time to discuss issues about your pet. I really love the (greeting cats ?) that meet you at the door.

I had a chance to use the online appointment app,, I made an appointment on sat , and Got the appointment two days later, it was great, My cat had an eye infection, They checked him out, I got some meds, and my cat was happy to see me again. Great care is given to the animals here, and would recommend this place to anyone who has an animal in need of a vet or just a tune up. Thanks good job….

Great friendly staff. Fixed my kitty right up on no time at all.Two years later and the little kitty isn't so little anymore. She has grown into her purrsonality and is a very content girl.

My pup broke his paw and we were able to be seen quickly. The staff is amazing, the care they provide is top notch. I felt like they viewed my pup holistically and weren’t just zeroed in on the paw. My pup has anxiety and is not very animal friendly and every time we went we were able to be seated separately or go right into our appt. We also got vaccines updated here. Zero complaints. Would highly recommend.

We recently adopted Bailey, a shelter rescue dog, from the Eagle River Humane Society. A fecal exam indicated hookworms so we booked an exam at the Northwoods Animal Hospital in Eagle River. We couldn't be more satisfied. The staff was friendly, patient and efficient. Dr. Mark gained the confidence of Bailey by slowly introducing himself to her and giving her treats. He fully explained a treatment protocol and saw to our every need. I highly recomend this animal hospital for all your animal medical needs.

I can't thank the staff of Northwoods Animal Hospital enough. After being turned away from several other vets in the area, Northwoods took the time to get us in between appointments.Our ancient 17 year-old Yorkie was seriously ill and we had family inbound to our cabin. The thoughtful advice and well chosen combination of medication saved our annual family event and gave us a great last weekend with our little girl before she passed quietly at home on Monday.You guys took the time to help when others didn't. You helped make a very difficult situation manageable. Instead of having to say a traumatic goodbye in an unfamiliar setting to a stressed, sick and confused little dog, we were able to spend several relaxing days doing dozens of very small sessions of her favorite things before she had to go.Thank you!

My husband and I recently switched to Northwoods Animal Hospital. We have been very pleased with the service our pets have received. Two of our pets went in on separate occasions, and the clinic staff was diligent about calling and checking in on them both multiple times. We also enjoy how personable each staff member was and affection they were with our pets.

I take my 2.5 year old Doberman here and have never had better care for him. Sharon is AMAZING at the front desk and the vets are all caring and offer complete care advice.
