Terrible course....crazy, weird set up holes everywhere! Greens in good condition, but crazy hills everywhere on the greens. Stupid pin placements make it even worse. Hard ground everywhere! For public courses....Nagawaki war memorial and Washington county golf courses way way way nicer!

First and last time playing this course. This is due to the ranger. He confronted our group multiple times and continually stalked us throughout our time playing the course. Pace of play was fine as we finished in UNDER 4 hours… Maybe there wouldn’t be issues of pace of play if the ranger didn’t hold groups up and try and start fights with people over pace of play…. Stay away from this place!

Similar to others we had a very poor experience on this course due to the ranger. While other courses let you play and have fun he is simply there to intimidate you and force an unreasonable pace of play when the course is busy. While waiting on a family golfing in front of us with a young child approximately 300 yards out from us he tells us to hit our shots. Mind you we are decent golfers and are capable of hitting shots that far and to be courteous we waited (still finished the front 9 in 2 hours) he said I doubt you can do it and told us to get moving. We hit the ball into the family and had to apologize to them on the next hole. We were proceeded to be stalked by him on the back 9 without any words said. Do not appreciate this approach to playing and ruins our experience. For the $55 they charge to ride 18 here there are many other courses in the area just as nice and much friendlier to play. Avoid if you can. We will not be coming back.

I will not be going to this course again. We were 2 minutes late to our tee time due to traffic and the front desk lady did not care. She was rude, and talk very arrogantly to our group.
We tried to negotiate and state that we are only 2 minutes late and that we could be teeing off in 5 minutes but she did not care. We were not able to golf today and can confidently say I will not be going to Kettle Moraine Golf Course again.

They need to get rid of the course ranger. He is some old man on a power trip. On my son's first tee on the first hole, the ranger told my son, who hit it slightly into another fair to pick it up and throw the ball back into our fairway. This guy will yell at people when play is slow. The problem is when he yells at people for slow play and the problem is six groups up. I don't plan on playing there again.

Absolutely deplorable experience. **READ FULL REVIEW** I'll preface this by stating I've played here many times over the years and have played 100s of courses.Never once have I been treated the way I was treated on August 25. I brought a friend (who has never played before) for his first outing. We played 9 holes in 1 hour and 40 minutes with a foursome. (I know, record time for a foursome). However, every chance the ranger had, we were being told to pick up the course of play. 50 YARDS FROM THE PIN WITH NO ONE EVEN CLOSE TO THE TEE BOX mind you.I'm by no means a slow player, however, I paid the exact amount as everyone else and have never been rushed like that.My friend, granted it was his first time, but he was hitting some great shots (even for a more experienced golfer). We took ZERO practice swings, and hit ZERO extra balls. And if a ball was short or OB we picked it up and moved it up with the rest of our group. Any ACTUAL delays in the course of play were when the course ranger would have a 6 minute "chat" about our speed. But wait, it gets worse. We wrap up our initial nine, and decide that due to our record time of completion we would do another 9 holes. When we went to pay for the back nine, my partner was advised he was not within their "dress code" and that tank tops (despite being extremely hot and humid out) were not allowed.Absolutely nowhere could I find on the website where there was a dress code rule. I've played on this course numerous times with persons in tanks tops, work cloths, coller-less shirts, and even COMBAT BOOTS!! Never once have those individuals been advised of the dress code.We were told, and I quote: "this is a country club, not a swimming hole". Based on all of this, I couldn't help but feel like my friend was being singled out, and not for his clothing. On the back of the score card, the course policy states:-golfers required to repair ball markers, etc.-all beverages must be purchased, etc.-golf carts must be kept on path, etc.-ball landing on or across roadways, etc.NOT ONE SINGLE RULE ABOUT DRESS CODE.The interactions with staff were nothing short of rude, discourtenous, unpleasant, and blatantly racist.I've enjoyed playing at this course in the past, but they will never see another dime from me.
