All these other reviews are spot on. I was on my way to Walmart and I saw this place. My tires were squealing as I hooked that right turn into their driveway because I almost passed it. I was greeted by the owners before I even went inside. I got my beer, ice, mallows, and a giant stack of firewood and was back at the campsite in a jiff. You don't find many places like this anymore! Long live Jumping Jupiters!

Been there a few time & both Doyle/Susan were very friendly & helpful. I would recommend buying bait, beer n firewood there ALWAYS.

Our air mattress had a hole in It and they leant us gorilla tape to fix it. Just brought it back the next day. Bought all our ice and wood from them.

These are the most lovely welcoming friendly people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting! It brings a tear to my eye every time we're driving in to camp and pass Jumping Jupiter ‐ that's when I know we're HOME!

It is rare these days to leave a store feeling better than when you arrived. The place is small, and there is a good selection of tackle, beer, firewood and other things you might need for camping. But the magic of this little store is not just about the stuff they sell. The owners are warm and friendly, and they truly care. I will be back for sure :)

Such amazing owners! Very nice and helpful. They have cheap firewood, decent selection of craft beer and mix a six. They have guitars, drums , and keyboards you can play. They will borrow you a fishing pole if you don't have one. They also sell bait. Cheaper ice than the gas station. Literally right outside Governor Dodge state park and close to House on the Rock. Stop here and support local business.
