“We stopped by for the first time the other day to buy some spice we saw they had in an online search. We only had a few minutes to buy this but we're impressed with the quantity of items available here. Are planning to go back when we have more time. The staff was friendly and helpful.”
“This ALDI store is okay! A little bit outdated. They did add the self check outlines, which was a great positive move when you only have one cashier working and, especially dealing with the only major store left in town which everybody uses self check out there, which is Walmart. Platteville, Wisconsin , is kind of a small area. So come early if possible, you might not find everything you're looking for, because everybody here either shops here or Walmart, but they should have what you need great establishment, clean and not so big that you can't navigate the store. This would be my go-to before you know Walmart.”

“Excellent grocery store with a wide variety of products. The staff is helpful, genuine and friendly. Prices are a little on the higher side but when you have as many workers as they do that are willing to help you, it's understandable where that money is being spent. It's a great experience to be able to find a "helpful smile in every aisle" as the stores motto suggests. This is one of my go-to grocery stores.”
“Cheap food, some in damaged packages some past its best by date, but so far all good. Inventory varies, imagine that in essentially a surplus dealer. Best prices I've seen on granola bars. Some candy bars that if they are not their best, must have been incredibly. You don't know what you will find before you look. Don't assume everything is a deal, it's all heavily discounted but some of it started as very pricey boutique stuff that is still pricey even overaged.”
“I miss our Eagle down in Macomb so much. I’m happy to see the legacy lives on there. I know it’s not the same company anymore, just the name, but it’s good to see the owners of this store haven’t changed the store much. I soooo loved their bakery and meat departments. “They have done an AMAZING rehab of this store - I was mind-boggled! It's gorgeous, bright and opulent inside. I got back to my hotel late at night and all the restaurants were closed. HY Vee has a huge selection of pre-made, delicious food choices. Grab a fork, I forgot!”

“Christina did our wedding florals and I was blown away by how incredible they were. The bouquets were perfect, and she delivered them right to us the morning of the wedding. Then she also went and set up the reception florals for us, cutting and placing the flowers in the vases herself, creating a garland, and setting up centerpieces. She did everything! It made the wedding day so easy for us, and the reception space looked so beautiful. It was better than anything we could have imagined, and Hy-Vee prices were really very affordable. Highly recommend!!”
“Piggly Wiggly is a decent grocery store to grab a few things you may have forgot. They have a good variety but the prices here are a little high for not being in bulk. They are usually relatively clean with good employees. I usually do not have to wait in a checkout line long.”
“So my Chinese craving week continues before endless eating turkey feast begins! Hooray!! I had a doctors appointment in Dubuque, Iowa. I had to stop at Hy-Vee on Locust for a last minute Thanksgiving list. And first things first, it was lunch time so we went to Chinese deli & had a variety of foods to chose from but we again chose Chinese, and our choices were black, pepper chicken, twice cooked pork & the sides came with plain lo mein, plain fried rice, crab Rangoon, and eggrolls. But then I went ahead and bought two BBQ pork steamed buns because they are the best. I usually make it myself but since they were there why not treat myself. And all that was scrumptious, and everything was only $23.53. You can't beat that. Hy-Vee had a special buy a ham @ $5.99 per lb and get a free turkey, so it was a good deal! I saw Starbucks at a glance & before exiting the store I had to try the venti peppermint mocha! It's okay & good but I will stick with my ultimate favorite which is venti ice vanilla latte with whip cream hot or cold!! So I suggested my BF and I divide and conquer, while he stood in line at the checkout and I stood in line for my drink this way we can be done and head home! However I was not happy about one thing, it wouldn't be a big deal but since we're out of town it kind of was! Time was limited and we were on a mission. The aluminum roasting pan was mishandled either by the cashier or the bagger but when we got home my BF noticed a nickel sized hole at the bottom of pan. He did mention something to me in the car that he didn't like how the pan was handled during check out but at the time I thought it's not a big deal. But now that we're home I know what he was referring to. I didn't get it before! And for an aluminum pan it wasn't cheap either!! If I was at checkout & not in line at Starbucks we wouldn't be home with a hole at the bottom of our aluminum pan is all I'm saying! This man needs to speak up and not after the fact!! Oh well, I head that way a lot so I will stop by for a refund as a Starbucks coffee or for a lottery ticket lol!!! Just a little side humor!! A slight hiccup but going forward never leave your man at checkout alone! Lo!! I was able to redeem my scratch ticket for $36 and bought more. Overall this was a really one stop shop for all... Recommended but be mindful if you're local or especially out of town, to double check your groceries or items for damaged or forgotten items before leaving the parking lot. 1st time review for this store as part of a Yelp elite squad! Thank you!!”
