We aren’t Catholic, but it was a beautiful little stop on our mini road trip. It was about 90 degrees and humid that day so we didn’t really take in the grotto for long, especially as shade was limited at that hour, but it was amazing just how intricate each wall, pillar and fountain truly was.

Really neat experience! Good roadside attraction with a gift shop that unfortunately was closed :( by donation only. Parking across street.

Beautiful gardens!! The grotto is a must see!! The gift shop has a great selection of religious goods- they have a huge selection of prayer cards! Wonderful place!

From Dickeyville Grotto Gift Shop & Tours
The Dickeyville Grotto & Shrines are located on the grounds of the Holy Ghost Parish in Dickeyville, WI. They are the works of Fr. Mathias Wernerus, a German-American priest who served the parish from 1918-1931. Visitors are welcome at any time throughout the year. Tours are available daily during the summer tourism season, and by appointment. Seasonal Gift Shop hours.
