I first reached out to Kelli, the owner, on August 22nd. I have been waiting as she keeps saying she has other things going on, such as projects, and traveling.I reached out several times and get no time scheduled after already submitting my documents per her request.Apparently she is too busy to accept new clients.

My accountant of 18 years retired at the end of the 2021 tax season. In looking for trusted and reliable recommendations by friends and family, Dona Griffith recommended Belt Accounting. Dona's recommendation proved to be the right recommendation for us to move forward with Belt Accounting for the 2022 tax season. After our initial meeting with Kelli Belt, our portfolio was assigned to Kelly Parkhill. Working with Dona and Kelly throughout the process has been an exceptional client/partner experience. We've engaged in several calls and exchanges of information during the process and prior to finalizing our tax returns. Both Dona and Kelly treated us like family and it is clear they truly care about their clients. It is without reservation that I recommend Belt Accounting for anyone looking for tax preparation now or in the future.

Dropped my tax documents off in person in early February. A couple weeks go by and i am informed that my documents cannot be found in the office. They just straight up lost all of my tax documents and left my family's personal information at risk of theft. They refused to accept responsibility or offer any real solutions to resolve the lost document issue. Extremely lacking in document control and security. Reconsider trusting this firm to handle your personal information.

Belt Accounting was very accommodating. Their system was easy to manage and the turnaround time was fantastic. I had an accountant for a long time who I was very satisfied with who retired. Belt Accounting is making the transition seamless.

No general inquiries here unless you pay them for it or are a client, although there voice-messaging system prompts you to do so ??♂️??♂️General inquires are for non clients, specific questions come from clients, kinda like calling your cellular carrier or all other businesses, remove that .

Called to file an extension through them, gave them my card information signed the necessary documents. I emailed them a correction to be made and never heard back. I called and left a message and never heard back. They never took payment to file my extension and now they have my card info… unhappy with the responsiveness and now I am unsure if I will be penalized for filing late.. very unhappy

We’ve enjoyed working with Kelli and her staff for eight years. Everyone is knowledgeable and service is prompt. When we sit down once a year at tax time, I am impressed by how much Kelli remembers about me and my family. In this way, tax time is a lot like getting together with an old friend! My in-laws switched to Kelli this year and she immediately identified a flaw the previous firm made—saving my in-laws money. My husband and I highly recommend Belt Accounting!

Kelli and Staff are phenomenal. They are totally accommodating and made my whole family feel comfortable. Some of us are for masks and others are against and they worked with us and made us all feel totally comfortable. Taxes got you down? Kelli Belt and the entire Belt Accounting and Tax team should be your first and last call for any tax need. For our small business and personal needs they have shown that their behind the scenes systems and the state of the art technology they use make tax prep hassle free. Security is crucial in our world and their secured portal is extremely convenient and easy to use... even for us non-techies. In addition, they are personable, kind, tax code brilliant and willing to answer any questions you may have big or small. Kelli and her crew have been outstanding in their knowledge, service and professionalism doing our family's taxes for many years! Even when we moved to the West Coast and our sons went off to college and needed help with their taxes, Belt Accounting was always there to help. We are back in Wisconsin now but its nice to know someone always has your back especially with sometimes complicated tax questions.
