I will never go to another Walgreens because of this last experience. I got done after my son’s 6 month appointment on July 3rd. He needed 2 medications before we head out of town for the holiday weekend. I called the pharmacy at 4:20pm to let them know I was leaving the appointment and although they just got the prescription, I would arrive in 5-10 minutes and was hoping they’d be ready for us. The woman on the phone was not rude, but not friendly and she was very quick to get off the phone. However, she confirmed they were almost ready. I get to Walgreens at 4:28 and the pharmacy is closed with a sign saying they would be closed early at 4pm on July 3rd. I don’t mind that they were closed early, but the woman on the phone didn’t say a single word about them closing early. She knew they were closing as well as they must have been running late to close as I called 20 minutes past their “closing” time listed on signs that were hung up. My son’s prescription was time sensitive for a rash that was getting worse. Thankfully, I was able to transfer my son’s prescription to the 24 hr Walgreens in Sun Prairie. But I will now be using other stores and a different pharmacy for family of 5 moving forward.

Takes 3-4 days to fill a prescription that should’ve and needed to be available same day according to doctor, rude unhelpful staff at pharmacy. Choose a different pharmacy for your sake and the sake of your health.

Deforest Walgreens is the worst pharmacy I have ever gone to. I called and nobody answered the phone was on hold for half hour. So drove to store while still on hold walked in, and went to pharmacy and there wasn't even one customer there. Workers were doing nothing. So asked why they couldn't answer the phone and the guy behind counter said there's only 3 of us here. So what is your point. They're all rude and lazy.

Worst customer service experience I think I've experienced in my life and I'm 61 yo. Have been trying to work with them to resolve a refill issue and initially it started out helpful but today the pharmacy staff has repeatedly put my phone call on hold and refuses to talk with me. Total rudeness.

Went through the drive thru at the pharmacy and a tech literally slammed the phone down to dismiss us without asking if I needed to speak to a pharmacist for my new prescription. Last I worked for Walgreens I was taught that was illegal.

The store was empty of customers and I asked if I could check out my two items at the pharmacy desk, where 3 staffers were just hanging around & gabbing amongst themselves behind the counter. No one was in line for Rx's. They told me "No", that I had to check out at the cash register at the front of the store. That's a first for me; every other Walgreens I've been in let's you pay for your OTC items at the pharmacy register. Especially when there is no line there. Then I went back to them to check on 2 prescriptions that had received the day before (both at the same time). They said one was ready now, but they were still working on the other one. When I asked how long it would be to finish filling the second (thinking I could hang around for 15 minutes and avoid a second trip later that day), they said "There's no way that other Rx would be filled today, that it might be ready tomorrow). Nothing has changed since then, it is still a prescription refill "in progress".I found the pharmacy staff off-putting, bordering on rude; certainly not customer friendly. Heaven forbid that they have to put up with, be inconvenienced by, something as silly as their customer's needs. This Walgreen's is the closest to me, but I will either switch to a store that's further away or leave Walgreen's altogether for a CVS or the local Community Pharmacy that's located right across the street from them.

The absolute worst pharmacy. Nobody answers the phone and when I call the store they give me attitude on how the pharmacy is busy and can’t take a call and that I have to come in to talk to them. Well I can’t drive without the rx that I’m waiting for so I don’t have that luxury. Not to mention I had called 12 times prior to 7pm at night with still zero response

Watched them fill prescriptions for 10 minutes before I was acknowledged at the drive-thru. Just go to hometown pharmacy across the street.

Terrible customer service in the pharmacy. My son has cancer and had issues with insurance going through properly. They will do NOTHING to help you. They will rudely tell you call insurance and refuse to be a part of the solution (asked them to do a 3 way call to try quickly resolve). A female pharmacy worker smirked and laughed at me, only at me so other workers couldn't see, she thought it was funny I had issues with insurance and rudely refused to help. Continued to smirk and laugh as I drove off. Absolutely will never go there again for pharmacy or anything at all. Absolutely worthless and unbelievably rude pharmacy staff.

Third time going to Deforest Walgreens pharmacy. Never again! Staff happy pills seriously needed there. Horrible customer service!! Did not have some of the meds that I needed to start immediately that day on those occasions and didn't mention it or advise to follow up until I specifically asked. The staff are very hurried and so annoyed by any questions!! . They also would not allow me to check out 3 extra items with prescrips and had to do second transaction at front counter - why? I will return to Waunakee walgreens where I went for 15 yers and never encountered these issues or unprofessionalism. They are just as busy but always professional and accommodatingJodi Tessmann.

Spent night in ER, they sent perscription to DeForest Walgreens. Walgreens has been open 4.5 hours and I still can't get the pills to keep me from vomiting. It will be at least 30 minutes. Thanks. For the help. Next time I will see if I can get sick in a more timely manner.
