“I made the mistake of calling a larger pharmacy in deforest hoping they could quickly fill a prescription for my pup was in distress. They were rude and couldn’t promise they could rush it. I called hometown and they were extremely polite and kind, and put a rush on it so when I arrived it was ready. The pharmacist even prepped the meds for me. I’ll never take my business anywhere else again. In todays world, hometown values are hard to come

“At first I thought all I got was a cardboard without my puppy’s pill but I called customer service and they explained to me that they ship their pills inside and to tear it open and it should be in there and it was! pretty awesome!”

“This is your average Walgreens. It's clean, staff is friendly and helpful, the Walgreens Pharmacy is alright. Not the friendliest bunch but I guess they are there to work and not make friends. Oh well! Anyway, they had almost everything we needed but we had to stop at Pick N Save for other things anyway. Walgreens can be pretty expensive but you'll have to hunt for the steals. But their laundry detergent and dish soap is super expensive. The toothpaste is also expensive. If you are able to go and get toiletries elsewhere for a good deal, I would stick to doing that. Unless you're a serious couponer and follow their ads religiously. But if you're stopping to pick up a few items because it's convenient. Just be prepared to pay more than you normally would. Their candy aisle is pretty impressive, they have a good holiday section as well, they don't blow up any balloons for you but have some Mylar balloons ready to purchase. Not a very good wine selection either but they do have beer here. They have some good deals on makeup as well.”

“I’m seeing this place take a lot of heat and I can’t speak for others but I’d like to say that I definitely drew up a misconception of what to expect when going there. There is an absolutely good human being there I thought was being rude but it wasn’t the case and I was wrong. 100 percent. I won’t go in to full detail but I will say I spoke to her in an unbelievably unacceptable manor and tone and she didn’t deserve it. I guess we never know what another person is going through or dealing with in life.or work. Or all areas because we might be blinded by what we’re going through ourselves. This is my personal experience. With one person. So it’s not in regards to what others have experienced there. Lauren, I just want to say is exceptional and before I even gave her a chance I landed on judging her and it was wrong. She’s absolutely great guys. She actually prioritized what I needed after I had left and went farther out of her way than I’d expect. It’s hard to articulate in words what I just experienced over the phone but it really showed me that we ain’t worried about what is on someone else’s plate if we’re too invested into what’s on our own. I will sincerely say that. I wemt from puffing my chest and asking for her boss (which my god. I’m embarrassed to even say that.) To wishing I could tell her boss Lauren needs a raise and I’d assume a well deserved vacation . I think in a way I’ll never forget this interaction because it really showed me things ain’t always how they seem. Especially when we see things usually from our own perspective first. I don’t know if she’ll see this but you really really left a lasting impression on me today Lauren and I am sorry again. And I hope you get the break you seem to very clearly need. If anyone sees this. Please be nothing less than kind and patient to her. I could hear this woman has a heart through her voice. I don’t know. Just my perspective of my time there. I hope she has a good day too.”
