Can’t say enough good about Shane sales rep, Dillion Manager, and Mike sales manager. Were extremely easy to work with, low or no pressure which makes buying comfortable. Was able to make the numbers work for me. They deserve A* Highly Recommend! Would buy again tomorrow if needed another camper. Please check them out before you buy one, you will not be disappointed ?

We bought a 2024 campsite reserve back in June . It has been in several times for warranty work and the problems are still not fixed . When they worked on our camper they didn't bother to clean up their mess .NOT A HAPPY CUSTOMER!!!!!!

November 2024 by Me Not you
These cats are shady, I went in with all intentions to buy a camper. Left a $100 cash deposit thankfully not anymore than that. I didn’t qualify for the loan, no harm no foul. I called them about getting my $100 deposit back. Talked with my sales rep who spoke with someone. He said Scott told him to call the store back “the front desk” and ask for a return check because we don’t carry cash anywhere in the store.
I did that and the lady at the front desk said “yeah Scott the finance manager”. He was apparently too busy to take a call . So I left a message for him, which he was too busy to call me back about.
I drove out to Madison from Great Lakes. And Scott had the audacity to tell me, “Ohh, I wish you would’ve called or left me a message” the receptionist told Scott “he left several messages” I asked him for a check and he replied “Lady” who writes checks just so happened to be out.
Stay far, FARaway from this Camping World in Madison they have garbage customer service.

Our family loves this place! My son purchased a camper trailer & my nephew purchase an RV. Special thank you & blessing to Shane. He is the type of salesman everyone wishes they would get! Not pushy ...very knowledgeable...kind & considerate...and also approaches the sale from a customer service standpoint! We pray for many blessings for Shane & all of your employees! And we thank you for your excellence in both service & sales!!

After having our RV serviced at another local shop, we found our black tank wasn't draining properly. After removing the drain valve assembly for the black and grey water tanks, I squeezed my hand into the black tank finding a plastic Snapple Bottle, and two glass Seagram's Cooler bottles. We have owned this RV for years. We don't have kids, and nobody else has been in it besides the shop we had it at. They had it much longer than what they were supposed to, and we did have some discrepancy on the repairs done and cost. I can only guess that someone there did this out of spite. The Snapple bottle label was in perfect shape, so it hadn't been in there long. I noticed that a couple of the flange brackets were broken when I removed the assembly, so I decided to replace the entire assembly because of it's age. I purchased an assembly online that looked close. To get it installed I needed a couple pieces of black ABS pipe. Home Depot and Menards didn't have them. We went to Camping World in Deforest and checked their parts dept area, but no luck. We decided to wander down to their service center in a separate building to see if we could get lucky. The stars aligned and we were greeted as we walked in by Taylor Gonzales. Very friendly and a nice smile she gave us hope immediately. For some weird reason , propped up directly behind her , she had two pieces of pipe that were exactly what we needed. She cheerfully asked how much we needed, and within minutes had the pieces cut and we were on our way. Fate brought us there at that particular moment in our lives, and we were fortunate that Taylor was our savior. Thank you Taylor. We will be having our RV serviced at Camping World going forward because of you. We need more people like you in the world.

I recently visited Camping World RV Sales for repair parts and supplies, and I couldn't be happier! The staff was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, guiding me to exactly what I needed. Their extensive inventory made finding parts a breeze, and the prices were very competitive. Highly recommend for all your RV repair needs!

First and last time dealing with these crooks. I took my camper in for service. Winterize, re pack wheel bearings , fill LP tanks, and inspect the roof. I was quoted around $685 by the service department. Granted I understood that if the roof needed service it would be more.
I was called a few days later and informed that there were a few cracks in the caulking. They recommended cleaning and re caulking. I was told that they were running a special. $385 plus the cost of materials? Materials were $50-$60. I said yes please do it.
I was called two days later and advised it was done. $1789!!
When I questioned him he stated that labor wasn't included??? What good is a special?
I was emailed by corporate with a survey. I explained the situation and received a call from corporate. The gentleman told me that somebody from there store would be contacting me that afternoon or the next day. That was 3 days ago and no call.
To make matters worse, my brother took his camper, which is identical to mine to another dealership and had the same things done, and his total was $653.
I've never felt so taken advantage of. Never again!

I was passing through the Madison area pulling a travel trailer. I'd boondocked the night before and lost all power. Taylor was able to fit me into the schedule to have a tech take a look. Prompt, friendly service. Turned out the battery just needed water. They filled it, cleaned the terminals and checked that it was holding a charge. They suggested adding a second 12-volt battery but did not hard-sell me (I declined). All in all a great experience!

NEVER buy from Camping World/Gander RV! Tell your friends!!! I heard it so many times AFTER we already bought from them. Now I know why! They will rip you off and nickel and dime you as much as possible.
Ex: We bought their extended warranty to cover big appliances and electrical issues. We went to have something serviced and to look at a few other things that were minor and they charge $150/hr just to diagnose the problems. This is BEFORE they even start repairs to see if the warranty even covers said repairs! We were looking at $300 just for a diagnosis. THEN you pay your deductible of $200 if it's even covered. They are scammers!! Needless to say we found a local camper dealer who diagnosis for FREE. On top of it my husband was almost late to drop it off our camper so I called to let them know he might be 5 minutes behind and the guy refused to stay 5 minutes after 6 pm. My husband ended up arriving at 10 minutes ahead of time and the guy locked the doors and shut off the lights so he couldn't give him the keys!!!
*** We actually gave them a second chance after I wrote this bad review and the second time was FAR worse! To make a long story short they tried to sell us a $20K 5th wheel camper with water damage and a hole in the roof. They fixed the roof but then I discovered the water damage on our walk through. We went through hell hauling our trade in up there 2 times and empty it out only to discover the junk camper they were trying to sell us. I should have known when the sales guy, Chuck, only shook my husband's hand and never introduced himself to me. Then Jim the GM never even apologized or tried to make it right after we discovered the water damage. He went MIA. Bad vibes from the start! I say a 2nd time....NEVER GOING BACK! BUYERS BEWARE!!!!!!!

Ryan and Brian in service were terrific! We stopped at Camping World at Madison, WI as we traveled west on a long trip to the west coast. We were getting "Check Trailer Wiring" notices randomly and intermittently while driving. I had recently had the truck and trailer in for service for this very reason, and replaced all the 7-pin coupler wiring from truck harness to trailer junction box. Without any appointment, Brian took at least 45 minutes to listen to my issue and tried to help diagnose and solve it. While that effort was not a complete success, I give him kudos for his willingness to help, to listen and to come up with ideas I never thought of. Well done lads!

This campers world advertised a motorhome for a price, agreed on that price. I was told I was accepted with 10% down and told me to get insurance before I came back with the down payment. I put insurance on it then they told me I needed more money down. I agreed to come back with more money down. Then on that day when I was to come back they told me they made a mistake and could not sell it to me for the price advertised/agreed and tried jacking it up$40,000. Will never step foot in that place or any camping world. Also good luck on reporting them to corporate no one will call you back. You will keep calling every 2 days for an upstate. Look up camping world sucks Facebook page save yourself!!
