The store has an outstanding selection and the staff is friendly and very helpful. However, they seem to never have Jameson BLACK BARREL in stock. Jameson BLACK BARREL has a much superior taste and smoothness.

We have lived in DeForest for about 30 years. Every time I ask DeForest Liquor Mart for anything special (like I did tonight), a special request wine that I can only find on the west side (please don't make me drive over there), they are happy to order it for me. They have a great beer selection and a really fun bourbon selection. Always friendly. It may not be the most attractive place, but think of it like your neighborhood bar that has been supporting your town for a really long time!

For a small town liquor store (and a small store) their selection is quite good. I can always find a decent bottle of wine and a tasty imperial Stout.

They're overpriced and the building looks terrible. DeForest will need to up its standards to compete with places like sun prairie and this place will need a complete do over They refuse to serve military members or people not "from" the area. They will not accept military IDs as a form of ID. They discriminate heavily against military members. I will not come here again and I suggest any military members stay away from this place.
