The instructors were knowledgeable, skilled and very welcoming. I was a complete newbie to firearms and my teacher took me through the basics class step by step helping me to overcome my fears, giving me a strong foundation for developing my skills with my pistol and the laws and regulations concerning self-defense.

This was recommended to me by a coworker. I needed to have two shotguns inspected and cleaned.
I am very happy I found them. Very knowledgeable and quite reasonable. On top of , they have a firing range. I will recommend Deerfield Pistol and Archery to my friends and coworkers.

With buying my first pistols after shooting rifles, the guys at Deerfield Pistol Center helped me with all my needs. Scott was able to answer all my questions along with making recommendations to help with the decision price. You will have a one stop local shop that actually takes care of customers opposed to the big chain stores.

Just took the AR-15 fundamentals course with Patrick. Outstanding instruction and practical training in the range. I've shot pistols for years, but was always a little intimated by the AR. The class taught me all the basics with classroom instructions and the range time made me comfortable with the weapon. Deerfield Pistol truly takes this seriously to make you an informed, trained and responsible gun owner.

We visited Deerfield Pistol for a team outing. Scott was awesome to work with. We were able to reserve all five lanes so it was just our team in the indoor range. They were able to rent us firearms, supply the ammunition, and provide a safety briefing. With a mix of skillset and comfort, we appreciated having Wally as our Range Safety Officer. He was knowledgeable, light hearted yet serious, and everyone felt more comfortable by having him in the range with us. If you are looking for something different for a team outing, I highly suggest connecting with Scott at Deerfield Pistol and Archery Center.

The staff in phone was EXTREMELY RUDE. We just called for information and this guy (because he didn’t want to share his name with us) ? treated us badly and annoyance!

I called this pistol and archery center because I was interested in learning more about their services, including whether reservations were needed and if they offered training courses for first-time shooters. As soon as I greeted the person on the phone with a friendly, "Hello, this is Carlos! How are you doing?" I was met with an extremely rude response of, "What do you want?"
When I politely asked for the person’s name, I was told, "I don’t give my name on the phone," which is fine, but the way he spoke was completely unprofessional. This is no way to treat potential new customers. If this individual isn't the owner, they are definitely doing the business a disservice with such terrible customer service. First impressions matter, and this experience left a very bad one.
I expected a welcoming and informative conversation, but instead, I encountered hostility. I won’t be returning, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone based on the treatment I received.
