The price is right, but the politics are garbage. Constant miscommunications, misleading information, misleading photos on the site, and the low price is only because they will gain by not giving back your security deposit, no matter what you do.
They told us they issue security deposit refunds on the Thursday after the event. We received a call that they were going to keep $50 of the refund. It's now the Monday after the Thursday and the deposit has not been refunded. Two calls.. conflicting answers and "it'll take a few days."
If you are looking for someplace that cares about their clients, gives quality customer service, communicates effectively and stands by what they say... look elsewhere. This ain't the place.

I wouldn’t rent from here unless you don’t want your security deposit back. I had an event here, and we were cleaning up when the night attendant told us we should leave or she’d have to write down we were there passed the time we were supposed to be. I told her we weren’t done cleaning yet, she replied,”it’s fine, I have to go back over everything anyway”. I had gotten one half of the room mopped and picked up, and we were working on the other side of the room when I was told this. Also, they said the kitchen door was left propped open, which I did since the attendant said she needed to go over everything again apparently. I thought I was being helpful by leaving it open. The attendant also told them I was there passed the time we were supposed to anyway lol. I was informed I would not be getting my security deposit back because there were “water and sticky spots on the tables” and the attendant had to spot clean the floor, which I thought she had to do anyway? Or so she said. Also, apparently they mean it when they say don’t smoke within 100 feet of the facility. Stay and clean up anyway even if the attendant tells you not to. Don’t rent from here unless you want to get screwed over too.

Worst place to have a rental! We paid over 200.00 for the rental on top of another 200.00 deposit. They charged me 50.00 out of my deposit for a sticky spot on the window sill, which is weird cause no one at the party was near the windows? I was also charged for the tables not being stacked correctly, which they were stacked the way they were supposed to be .I mean are you serious, no damage done to anything and the hall was spotless when we left, perfect for another party to go set up. Completely unreasonable place to have a party.

My son's reveal party/baby shower was held here today! Thos facility is perfect for small or even medium size gatherings. It is a very spacious, neat, friendly and well put together place! This is a five star place for me! Thank you DePere Community Center!!
