30amp site #3 isn’t working properly, a/c ran at half capacity, fridge wouldn’t cool, tv shutoff every time a/c cycled. Pedestals poorly placed in 30amp loop. Imbecile at site #4 decided to burn trash in fire pit at 10:00pm, creating toxic fumes from plastic, left his trailer lights & others on. No host on site. Moved to 50amp site with adapter at 11:30pm. For what/where it is, $30/night is ridiculously overpriced.

Very nice park! Lots of grass, trees and a small river lining the campground. Very clean, well maintained. Spaces are set up so your neighbors are not right next to you. Lots of trails and downtown a quick walk away. We stayed for 9 days and pleased with our entire stay. It was quiet, peaceful, trails for walking or UTV rides. Really hated to leave but adventure calls!

Always a great and clean campground. First come first serve with self registration so sometimes full on holiday weekends. ATV and UTV friendly. Easy 3 min walk to downtown Darlington with lots of bars/ restaurants. Close to a grocery store as well.Playground: Simple but fun playground geared to the elementary age school kidsRestrooms: Restrooms are clean. Private shower facilities are also clean and useful after ATV riding all day. 50 cents for 5 min so bring quarters.

Cozy little campground. There were ground hornets all over by the playground though. Playground: Swings, Playset with slide. Hornets everywhere though.

Beautiful city campground. Very small and intimate. Huge spots. Almost all are back in, but are easy. Basic camp playground, great showers and bathrooms. Each campsite is gravel very level and has a new picnic table. Electric pedestal and a fire pit. Mature trees, maples, and Oaks right on the river, we were here in the beginning of fall in the colors were amazing. People have complained about the bell tower sounding every hour week didn’t even hear it. It’s very faint. There are no trains no traffic noises it was lovely.

How is this place so highly rated? There’s a tower bell that dings every hour on the hour waking you up. Dirty diapers right in the middle of the walking path, peoples dogs howling and barking throughout the night and very early in the morning aaand last but not least - screaming toddlers since 6am! There’s an ATV trail running through the park and people ride their machines till late hours at night.. I mean cmon.. the only thing that’s good about is that it’s conveniently located in the middle of town and bathrooms/showers are semi clean.

Park is located just on the river but you can see city.Sites by the trees are ok, but others are open and not really enjoyable. No river access, cannot start or finish kayaking here even it does show river access.
