“Our mail carrier has always been friendly and helpful. Brings packages right to the door, although we are a rural route. Folks at the counter in the office have also been professional and eager to assist. I am surprised at the unfavorable reviews; my husband and I have had nothing but great experiences. (especially having moved here from a much larger city!)”
“This post office is teeny tiny, but it gets the job done! Once you walk in hang a left and there's a very small room with the counter for getting items mailed and buying stamps. There was one person ahead of me and both of our transactions were quick - I was in and out in under five minutes (probably closer to three). The counterperson was nice and even gave me my choice of stamps for the one letter I had to mail in addition to my package.”

“I just want to say that in the 14 yrs. that I have been living here in Montello, that the Postal Service has always been professional, pleasant and friendly towards me. They have always been exceptional in their delivery service as well. I've been meaning to compliment them for a long time. The woman and men in the office have always gone out of their way to do the best thing for me when mailing packages. Even when they have been understaffed and swamped with many customers. I enjoy going into the office because of their efficiency and politeness. They have never rushed me when I was being taken care of. The same holds up for all of the other customers before me & waiting in line. I'd like to shout out to everyone employed there Thank you so very much!”
