She is an excellent veterinary diagnostician, and she cares about the animals. I totally trust her judgment, and there are not a lot of vets (or doctors) I can say that about. If you want a snazzy new building, this is not your place. If you want a great vet for your animals, you can't do better.

1820 Main St, Cross PlainsFantastic little cafe with charm. Staff is very attentive and willing to offer recommendations. Prices are reasonable, and food is consistently delicious. Large selection of homemade desserts, which change every couple weeks. Outdoor seating available (pets welcome).
Would highly recommend the banana pancakes and the Vessel sandwich (with candied bacon added!). Vessel has quickly become our favorite weekend breakfast spot!
Kid-friendliness: Small section on the menu for kids favorites (ie mac n cheese, PB & J, etc.)
Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible front door and outdoor patio (accessible via side gate)

Crossroads Coffeehouse
2020 Main St, Cross PlainsThis is the cafe I have been looking for the Madison Wisconsin area. The space feels light airy and modern without feeling cold and without warmth. The coffee was great I got this raspberry latte which the espresso was super smooth and the berry taste was just subtle enough as to not be overpowering. The egg sandwich was really solid with a herb bun. They have a lot of different food and drink options which I also appreciated. I feel comfortable hanging out in the space for a while, while I got some work completed. I will be back.
