Took time out of my work day to stop at this post office - Called after open to ask a question, no answer.I Drove there anyway later in the day. I Parked in the lot attached to the post office, then the old lady who lives behind the post office ran outside, started yanking on my door handle. She was screaming at me, saying I needed to be more careful backing out or I would hit her car. She Then asked me if I was DoorDash and continued to question me. After all that , the Post office was still closed.

Why is this Post Office still open at our expense? They don't have a printer to print out a receipt (for tracking and proof of receipt) on a prepaid package? Wha??

I need to renew my Passport. After checking Online, all the USPS branches should carry the required Passport renewal forms.I stopped at the Colgate branch and they did not have the renewal forms.This is a "CUSTOMER SERVICE FAILURE."I do not recommend the Colgate USPS and I will never stop too use their services.

Post Office is the size of a small bathroom, and has no capacity to handle large amounts of mail. I was turned away by the mail lady and told I had to take my prepaid packages elsewhere. What is the point of this post office? Not to mention, the mail lady was dressed in what looked like pjs and a hoodie, with the hood up working the counter.

Probably the tiniest post office I've ever been in. Probably worth visiting just for it beings so small and cute and old. And it's the only thing going on in 'downtown' Colgate. It's not even the full building, it's just the front of a private residence. But you can get stamps, mail packages, or get a P.O. box. Only one person works here, and they also work at other locations, which explains the short hours. Park along the street in front or across the road; there is no lot. There is also a mailbox out front for when they are closed, but you have to get out of your car to use it.
