My nineteen-year-old daughter recently bought a used car from Steinke Auto. She drove the car gently and kept up on scheduled maintenance. Within a few months, we had to put in a thousand dollars' worth of front end work, and within six months of the purchase date, the engine was shot, with metal shavings in the oil.Since bringing these issues to the attention of Steinke Auto (and I can't imagine that these issues weren't known about prior to the sale), there has been no reasonable attempt to make things right, and they now appear to be avoiding contact.Very disappointed.

Our daughter's car broke down in the area and we had it towed to Steinke Auto. We worked with Paul who allowed us to keep the car in his lot while we figured out what we were going to do. We did look at the vehicles for sale at Steinke because we really wanted to purchase one from them, but there were not any vehicles in my daughter's price range because she is in college and just doesn't have the funds. Even though we did not purchase a vehicle from them, Paul was incredible. He was fine with us leaving the vehicle until Rawhide could come pick it up and he even went as far as taking her license plates off for us so we didn't have to worry about bringing tools and trying to get the plates off. We truly appreciate Paul's kindness and customer service!
