Always a pleasure doing business with Thaler. I appreciate their willingness to offer a budget plan for LP customers as well as the large selection of items at their convenience store in Eleva.

Had been with thaler for 22 yrs until they said we didn't buy 600 gal in a yr. First of all what a joke, 600 gal is alot for 2 people to use but we were always close. Then comes the $150 fee for violating the lease agreement, like other people said who has become fee happy! I also had asked for 200 gal of my prebuy to be brought out & they filled the tank just to make more money...very shady. This company talks about being family owned but don't treat customers like family. They have changed how they treat long time customers & needless to say we are no longer a customer...look elsewhere for your propane needs!

I've filled my RV tanks at Thaler 4 or 5 times over the last several months. The folks in the office are always super friendly and personal. They've always gone out of their way to fill my tanks while I wait. Great service and very fair pricing!

Doesn't seem customer oriented. Was told they require upfront payment from renters. I know other renters that don't have to pay upfront, seems to be a lie of sorts from the company. Seems to be no urgency to fill the tank without payment prior even tho there's a child in the household. Either way it'll be filled by this Friday but why the hassle?

While we were extremely happy with them for 8 years, then something changed with their customer service approach. The new approach is to sock you with so many fees that it makes it difficult to switch. I want to do business with companies that appreciate a longstanding customer (who kept money on our account every year). When making the decision to switch, they wanted to only reimburse me .75/gallon for fuel that I had just paid $1.79 for less than a week prior and wanted to charge me an additional $250 trip charge on top of that. Don't Bother. Find someone who wants your business. We found a company willing to pump all that fuel into a larger tank for a year and then come back and set a different tank the following year FOR FREE. They want my business. They understand that how to be a business.

We have been customers for 7 years of Thaler with a leased tank and have been on the keep fill program all 7 years with an occasional minor issue here and there. Yesterday, called the office to ask to be taken off keep fill and to have the minimum of 200 gallons brought out since we were down to 15% and summer is coming up. The lady in the office was pleasant and said that many customers do this, but we would have to monitor the tank ourselves and could get back on keep fill in the fall. No problem. According to the ticket, the driver came 3 hours later than the phone call. The office called me today and repeated my request and then said that it looks like the driver had filled up the tank. So now what because this isn't what I requested. They said I could talk to the owner to see if anything could be worked out. They transferred me to Steve. Steve had said they have so much going on and monitoring that they can't monitor this too. He said that they could send a truck to pump some of it back out, but it would be a $200 charge, this seems pretty counterintuitive. He said he agreed, but there was nothing else he could do. He then said that he said that we wouldn't be allowed to be on keep fill anymore if this is what we were going to do. What does that even mean? Is that a punishment? This is the first time we've asked to be taken off keep fill in the 7 years we've been a customer. Then he said that we should go with a different provider. I said no problem, we will pay the bill in full at the cash price and then let him know when he can come get the tank. I would think that a local company would have better customer service, would want to keep their customers, and would just be overall better. I would not recommend this company. Use River Country or Quality, there's absolutely no risk considering nothing can be worse than Steve at Thaler.

Called last night 430pm was at 5% LP they were at my house which is over an hour away for them, by 730AM. So incredibly grateful I actually had just turned my heat off not expecting anyone for a day or two. Always have great service with thaler oil.

Great service. I had issues with my old propane company. One call and Thaler Oil had me set up with a brand new tank, found an existing leak in my propane piping and had me up and going! Great service, fair prices, friendly staff!

I have never had a problem with Thaler lil. As long as your balance is $0 they come full your tank, then you pay it off before you need gas again. They even have an auto fill program so you don't have to worry about forgetting and running out. Two thumbs up
