“Wonderful service. Beautiful hotel. As a premium elite member, we were upgraded rooms upon arrival. Our king room was HUGE, the bed and pillows were super comfy, and the blackout shades.... Seriously, all hotels should have those! The pool and whirlpool were lovely too!”
“This review pertains to the bar only. Captain Ron leases and runs the bar. One of the few bars on Lake Wissota accessible to boats. We were pontooning and needed a beverage and potty break. We pulled up to the dock @11:00 am. Walked up to the door to find out they don't open until noon. Disappointment set in. On the way back to the boat the resort owner said she was sure that Ron would open early for us. She knocked on the door, spoke to him, and sure enough, he welcomed us into the bar. Gotta love northern Wisconsin hospitality. We ordered drinks. Mine was a Bloody Mary. He served it in a glass with their homemade mix. Then he set a caddy of mix of spices on the bar so that I could customize it. Awesome. We vacation in Chippewa Falls every year. We always stop at the Mallard for cocktails. You should do the same whether by boat or car. Captain Ron is accommodating and very friendly. We enjoyed the time in his bar.”

“Staff was very friendly and helpful. Loved the rooms. They have full size shampoo, conditioner, and body wash which is wonderful. Everything seemed clean and orderly. Parking is a little bit difficult since it's a downtown hotel, but still manageable. We stayed with three toddlers, and managed to make it up and down from the room even with the parking situation. The breakfast is also quite nice.”

“I've stayed here quite a few times over the years usually when I've gor housework of some kind going on and need to get out for a day or two. Nice clean little rooms. Friendly desk staff. I've never had any issues. Would definitely recommend for a nice clean and cheape stay.”
