Plenty of room to maneuver a wheelchair. This was first time going and it was enjoyable. I plan on going again.
Wheelchair accessibility: Accessible parking. Accessible ramp on the side of the building. Gets you to the elevator to get inside.

I love this space for 3 BIG reasons1. The ATMOSPHERE is family friendly and prices are accommodating for our community for CULTURALLY RELEVANT shows.2. COMMUNITY is welcoming and well established, from school age kids and art shows with our schools, to annual programs put on BY, FOR and WITH our neighbors. The space is great for events too! They helped me arrange a fundraising event for our nonprofit and make a beautiful wedding venue.3. EDUCATION form a wide variety of supporting artists. It could be a class from a well-established local artist, a gallery showing, or a show from artists traveling the world. And they bring it all to Chippewa Falls.
Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly. Space for nursing in the women's room. Events can be movement based in this space and are often sensory aware. Many of the shows are family friendly. My kids have enjoyed having some of their art on display with the cooperation the Heyde has with our local schools. They have also seen "Don't Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus" with their school, as well as shadow puppeteers, and a traveling youth groups of musicians from around the world. It has been a great way to share the world with them.
Wheelchair accessibility: There is handicap parking. A single elevator to the outside can hold 4 folks with one in a wheelchair. The ramp is not very steep and has a railing. Floors are flat for easier movement. Good viewing. Wide isles. Options for special accommodations are easy to ask for if needed.

Our first visit to the Heyde Center, for a brass band Christmas concert. This is a gorgeous building, and the music was wonderful. We'll be paying more attention to future events at the Heyde Center.

I have attended a couple of classes here. I love it! I haven't specifically ordered food or drink, but they supposedly provide coffee and snacks for our class(?). It's good. All the people we've come across there are friendly. I'm not sure who works there or not, but every one is friendly enough.
