A beautiful find in Cedarburg. The building itself is a piece of art. It is a free admission museum. Casual and beautiful.

Very nice FREE art museum in an old Victorian style mansion, which is a piece of art in itself. You can go through it in 20-30 minutes. Exhibits continually change. Right on Washington Avenue where all of the shopping is.

Was a very beautiful and quaint visit. Pretty small though and don't bring up that you are from out of town even if you are. Still a good experience though.

The architecture was lovely. Wonderful that Cedarburg now has an opportunity to embrace local artists.

The museum is located in a historic home in downtown Cedarburg. I used on-street parking immediately in front of the museum. I'm not sure if parking is available in the large yard. Many steps up to the entrance. I was greeted warmly. Although there isn't an entry fee, there is a box for donations.I went specifically to see the John Colt collection, as he was my professor at UWM for Art History which left a lasting impression. I enjoy his pen and watercolor pieces - delicate, colorful, intricate figures, informative, with a touch of whimsical. The collection of the Madison born artist also included several pastels and brought back fond memories of student life and the Fine Arts Complex. It took me about an hour to walk through the museum. At the end, I spent time in the gift shop. In addition to local artist's original paintings and drawings, there's lots of unique jewelry pieces, and handmade items which make thoughtful, individualized gifts!

The exhibit with the carved wooden birds and turned wood vases was exquisite. They don't mark the art there as for sale, but you can ask in the gift shop and see if the piece you're interested in is for sale or not. Staff are very enthusiastic about the art and are kind.

Very artistic boutique Museum with lots of cool arts. The lower floor shows an interesting type of paintings where there is a stipulation of having to draw a place 1 mile from where you live. Will surely go back.
