Just moved to the area and needed new lawn mower batteries. I wanted to stick with Ace, as that was what I used at my last residence and they were amazing!!
I called to see if they had my batteries in stock and the lady would not transfer me to the garden department and then came back in the line and said that she didn’t know if they carry my battery (she never asked for the part number or any information) and said most people just bring the old one in.
I called my old Ace Hardware and they helped me identify the correct batteries and I will drive 2 hours to that store since my local store apparently does not want my business.
I thought small town people would be kinder.

This is a horrible store and I wish I could give them zero. I will never shop there again! I went to return a utility knife with a receipt and they wouldn’t return it because the package was open and they couldn’t resell it! Isn’t that the cost of running a business?? Their customer service is the awful! Take your business elsewhere and I will drive out of my way to get better customer service!

Bought a dragonfly solar light. Put it the sun for 3 days. Didn't work. Brought it back and exchanged it for a different one. Got it home and it blinked in broad daylight and not at night. Brought that one back and because we didn't have a receipt they wouldn't exchange it. After getting 2 and both not working and then tell us they didn't know if we got it there. I will drive to West Bend or somewhere else from now on. I am not happy.

Usually like this store.lazy clerk stated he didnt want to learn sale prices in garden center. Even after i told him the sale peice, he rang items up at full.price No boxes or carts to bring plants into store with. No automatic door to help you get out with bulky purchase

It Saddens Me that I Had a Really Unpleasant Experience with Attempting to Shop Here For the First Time. I Live in Campbellsport and In the Fall when we Had the First Snowfall I went in there to Get Some Rocksalt...They Didn't Have Any Out Anywhere yet so I thought ok, let me Get a Few Other Needed Items.Well, I passed 2 different women working there that looked Directly at me like I had a 3rd ? eye..Never Asking me as a new Customer if I needed Help or Anything..I felt Like They Didn't like " My Kind " Being in there...it was awful. NEEDLESS TO SAY I LEFT AND WILL SHOP IN WESTBEND
