Worst vet I have ever been to. My dog suffers from kidney failure and before his diagnosis the vet told me he had cancer and he needed to be euthanized but sure enough the ER said he just has kidney failure. They also man handled him, when they gave him an IV the tech had dirty hands no gloves and also used a dirty needle that he had already used. If I could rate this vet it would be -5 DO NOT GO TO

I have been seeing Lyons Vet for some years. I’ve been taking 2 of my cats to them and recently I got a 3rd cat that I needed looked at and I was not able to afford the price they wanted to charge so I had asked them to send over my cat file to a different vet that actually saved me a good chunk of money. Lyons had no issue doing so but when I called to ask about flea and tick and also how much it would cost to get my cat’s neutered (every where is different in price) they had said that they would no longer be able to see me anymore.I don’t recommend Lyons. If their going to get upset that you were seen by someone else, their not worth your money or time, especially if your trying to save money!

These people were horrible to my puppy. His first visit they were yelling at him in another room to stop he wasn’t making any noise no barking no growling. They came back and said they would have to sedate him for a nail clipping. Ridiculous pet smart did it no issues. They couldn’t get an ear swab neither tech or vet but I managed to. They wanted to sedate him for that. He’s a 10 month old puppy who shows zero aggression and does not bark. Tried to get his prescription the receptionist was rude and threw the paperwork at my husband when he came to pick it up. Then they have been making it extremely difficult to get our dogs paper work. Horrible experiences every time

My 3 year old lab was very sick not eating or drinking. I took her to be seen and had x-rays and pancrrtic blood test done. The x-rays were clean and the pancrrtitis test came back negative. The radiologist stated to treat for pancrrtitis because it can come back negative if tested early in the illness. They wanted me to do more x-rays even though the radiologist didnt see any blockage. My lab started to decline so I tool her in, they ran more tests and IV fluids were given. They diagnosed her with Addisons which is very serious and very expensive to treat every month. I asked about different options to get help financially but they didn't provide me with any assistance with that. My lab declined again over the weekend and was told to take her to the ER but it would cost 500 for the needed shot. I was provided pills to treat for the same illness in humans. I knew I wasn't going to be able to afford $300 every month and started looking for help even if that meant finding her a new home. I started working with a rescue who provided me with a vet to do a 2nd opinion. I asked Lyons Vet to send my dogs file which they did. My dog was given her 1st injection. I later received a letter from Lyons Vet stating they would no longer be providing services to my dog because I took her somewhere else. I explained why and I didn't receive an apology or that they would treat my dog. They just emailed me the rest of my dogs file. Addisons is very serious and for a vet to stop seeing your dog because of a 2nd opinion is more about the money then the animals. I would not recommend them for anything.

Was here for our kittens exam and to set up her spay, but after the DVM poked my little princess 5+ times to try and get labs, he held her down and she let out a painful meow. I said ENOUGH. I found out later on he was not the vet who cared for the litter originally when we got her. The technician was very good but I won't be back.
