“Can't say enough about the exceptional service and caring that was extended to myself and my two daughters from Karie and the alterations staff that helped us.... I am a somewhat capable seamstress and thought I could hem my own dress .. well life happens and my world turned upside down with the unexpected and time escaped me and here I was a month and a half out from the wedding and my dress was not hemmed and I am the mother of the bride !!! My daughter the bride was having her alterations done here and i came with her -- so in desperation I asked "would you be somehow able to hem my dress as well?" .. and Karie said absolutely !.. and fit me in the schedule right then and there !!! And a week later, my daughter the maid of honor brought her dress to them as well. From beginning to end for myself, my daughter the maid of honor, and my daughter the bride - the professionalism and caring was exceptional - so were the workmanship of all the alterations - they made sure my daughters and I were 100% happy and did what was necessary to make it what we wanted.. The cost was disclosed to us upfront and it was honored throughout - no additional hidden fees..... They took care of all 3 of us - and we do not hesitate to speak highly of them to anyone we know that need great, efficient and perfect alterations - If you need alterations, come here first- you wont need to look any further - definitely 5+ star service !! Thank you staff at Influence Apparel so much for outfitting us so beautifully !!!”

“In contrast to what some of the negative reviews report, I’ve had a good experience - possibly because I don’t consider it the job of retail workers to treat me like a best friend? I’ve always received the treatment I think can be expected (employees have always been polite, gotten me a dressing room promptly, answered my questions, rung me out without issue, etc.)
What has also happened every time I’ve been in this store is this: there is invariably some customer with elaborate needs occupying the full attention of at least one associate, be it with a baroque labyrinth of return and exchange requirements, a need for the associate to act as their dedicated shopping buddy, or some other request I honestly cannot imagine making. Just now, I was at the register beside a woman literally accusing the poor employee checking her out of some kind of fraudulent charge. So, if I had to guess, I’d wager that some of the one-star reviews may come from customers with expectations far exceeding what I think the average shopper would hold.
Rant over. Shop here if you like Free People. This store is totally fine.”
