Came in with a drop away rest that wasn't dropping. Fred looked at it right away couldn't fix it . So put a new one very fast. Shot it and barely had to move sight pin . Great job Fred and thank you

First off, terrible repair service. Took 3 weeks for them replace a crossbow string that they said would take around a week. Second, their online hours say they’re open Sunday from 12-5. However, me and several other customers showed up and their shop was closed. As buisness owner, it’s basic etiquette to make sure shop hours are updated.

Not much to write reviews or complain so with a heavy heart I have to say I am a little disappointed in west town took my compound bow in to get string replaced was quoted a week to have the string come in and have bow repaired we are now going close to a month….have called the shop twice now the first gentleman that I spoke to2 weeks before this review was not much of any help but was at least was respectful the Second Gentleman that I spoke to (Kraig) was very helpful and respectful however stated that the string was in and he would try and get me bumped up in the order to get it done…were I am upset is as followed I was quoted a week time to get my bow done (bow was only in to have string replaced and have new monkey tails installed) if it wasn’t going to be done in a week at least be honest with the customer, the second reason I am upset is I will be missing opening of bow season with my 75 year old dad who doesn’t have much time left I am heart broken to see the store I trusted with all of my archery needs just not be transparent and inform their customer on a proper lead time and stripping away the last opening day I have with my father. Update:(problem resolved same day) I have to say thank you to Kraig for being a man of his word I originally gave 2 stars for my disappointment, I have changed it to 3 star due to Kraig he was honest and transparent which was what I was asking for from the beginning. Give that man a raise for his great work and allowing opening day with my dad to be a reality

Barry was quick to help even tho I have a bow from the early 2000s. They are putting a new string, peep, tube, and d loop on it at a very reasonable price. I am new to the sport and I was gifted the bow to learn and I was nervous of the cost of the re string. He was very informative and explained things very well. When I upgrade I will be using west town.

Have been going there on and off for over 10 years. The staff has always been friendly, warm and welcoming. Their selection looks good too, we usually end up doing a few rounds at the range and it’s always been wonderful experience.

First time at West Town. Went to buy my first new bow since 2006. Rob helped me out and was fantastic. No pressure. Let me make my own decision. Super helpful and treated me with respect. West Town Archery will be my new go to archery shop.

Just starting to learn about bows, my husband and I went looking for his birthday gift. We didn’t know what we didn’t know until a staff/family member spent an hour before closing describing the mechanics of different compound bows and how it’s customized for the user. It was great to actually feel it as he adjusted to see what I could pull. Now we feel educated enough to at least speak about them and that one will not work for us both which for sport was the hope. They also offer free range time and personalization of new/used bows purchased at their indoor store/range. Invaluable to a newbie. I look forward to going back to make a selection, shooting arrows and learning about cross bows. Many bows and advice given covered a range from beginner to the professional archer. Prices in used were well within marked price and negotiable for packages.

I love this place, even more since the expansion. The ranges are nice and affordable, the staff is knowledgeable and never makes you feel stupid for asking questions. They always have great advice. Would recommend West Town to anyone!Edited to add: I’ve been doing league here for a few months now and I would highly recommend it. Getting to know the staff and other shooters has been a joy. I’ve learned so much since I’ve been coming to West Town, and my scores are starting to reflect that. The best dang archery shop around, hands down!!!

Shopping for my first bow, after years of analysis paralysis and chose West Town Archery, and couldn't have been happier with my experience. I had a budget and lots of questions and Chris took the reins and guided me to my first bow purchase along with the accessories and sighting the bow within minutes of having it in my hands. This place is the real deal!

They tried the pawn off a 2022 crossbow as a 2023 model. There were changes made I found the difference by doing research before I bought. When I confronted him about the discrepancy he said oh they would not have charged me the full price. And offered it to me for about $500 less. I don't care I won't buy from somebody that lies Or has no idea about what they're selling.
