I appreciate the positive support the Schramka staff gave me. They were patient and caring as they walked me through the cremation process. They were kind enough to reach out to me several weeks later to check on me and give me encouragement as I go through the grieving process. Thank you again!

We are from out of state, and Shameka Funeral Home worked with us every step of the way in order to complete the burial of my mother‘s ashes in Milwaukee. They were very attentive, always responded when asked with questions and when the time comes for my burial of ashes and my husbands we will certainly use Shameka Funeral Home.

Whatever I write won't do justice to the exceptional and compassionate job that Schramka did for our family. We were caught off guard by my wife's unexpected passing. Their staff guided us through all of what seemed like endless and sometimes overwhelming details and arrangements. We chose to have the visitation, service, and reception all at the Brookfield location. Their facility was perfect for this. I'll add that I was surprised at how accessible Schramka was. It seems their front door was always open, someone at the front desk, and areas to visit, conduct business or just relax. Don't feel afraid or intimidated by the idea of visiting a funeral home. Our family has been using Schramka funeral home since 1979. So when my father passed away this April there was no question on who to call. Jeremy took the time to answer all of our questions. He worked around our schedules and made the process as easy as it could be. Hopefully it will be a very long time before we need their services again...but when we do, we know who to call!!

Schramka has taken very good care of our family after the passing of our mom. My parents purchased a cremation package over 20 years ago from a service that Schramka took over. They honored that agreement. They helped us navigate through all of the things you have to do after a death eventhough we weren't going to use them for the funeral.
Unfortunately, the funeral service we were going to use was very cold and not helpful. So we called Schramka and ended up going with them. Again, they have been extremely helpful with all of the arrangements. Our mom's visitation and service will be at our church and they will be there every step of the way.
We are working with Amanda and she has been super kind, helpful, and always available to answer our many questions. They check in almost every day since the funeral is a month away. I have talked to 5 different people and all of them have been kind and helpful.
I would not hesitate to use them again and to recommend Schramka to anyone who asks.

We found Funeral Director Peter Schramka and his staff to be extremely kind, caring, and compassionate. Schramka's celebration of life services were just what we needed to say goodbye to a beloved family member, and to help us cope with the grieving process.
