My wife and I realize that it is Saturday and following a major snowfall and that the store would be busy. Having said that, it doesn't matter what day of the week, whether it snows or not; this store like other Metro Markets only keep ONE lane open with an actual live cashier. We stood in a line at least 10 carts deep waiting for the SELF-CHECKOUT t(of which there are 8-10 registers open) to become available. (The lone staffed checkout was at least 15 carts deep, blocking shelves to accommodate the shoppers in line.) Since Kroger took over from Roundy's it seems to have gotten worse! Please, please, PLEASE open more staffed register lines!!!

My wife went by to pick up something quick. Had to go somewhere else. Sign on the door said will open limited hours due to difficulty getting staff. This store is getting worse on a monthly basis. Seems all the local Pick and Save locations have figured it out. Metro Market rumor on the street is it will be closing.

I will not be back. Honestly had the longest day. I was just looking to get in and out. There was no sticker on the avocado that I was trying to get a price on, and Cindy was anything but helpful. She was beyond rude, and went out of her way to tell me that I had an attitude when asking too many questions while in line. I know that good help is hard to find these days, but they should at least hire people who want a job. Awful customer service. I came tonight for the prices. I’ll pay more and go elsewhere.

I'm done here. Never a full service lane open lately, everyone forced through self-check, long lines, filthy touch screens, and then everybody is treated like a potential shoplifter. Kroger has nothing to offer that I can't get elsewhere at a comparable price, better quality, and where they still realize the value of customer service.

I dropped my drivers license into a crack between the self check out register and the bags. It was gone! Then, thanks to 3 employees it was recovered. Cindy went way above and beyond today. All 3 employees were very nice but Cindy is a rockstar!! Thank you very much!!Side note. I’m leaving for vacation in 2 days and without my license, I might have had trouble renting my car!! So you are all much appreciated ❤️

One register was open the Monday before Thanksgiving and the lines were half way down the aisles. The store was in disarray with stockers, pallets, and boxes everywhere.A coupon wasn't properly applied and instead of fixing it the service desk lady critiqued our ability to read before throwing the product after we decided to simply return it.This used to be a really nice store but it's being heavily mismanaged.

I’ve been a regular customer here for 8 years but today was my last visit ever. The line at self checkout - at 2:00 pm on a regular Tuesday - was without exaggeration 30 people deep. It looked like the day before Thanksgiving. This is the second time in a month I’ve seen a line like this and today I decided to walk out and I won’t be returning. Fresh Thyme is in the same shopping center and there are several other options locally that I’ll shop at now. Kroger did a fantastic job of destroying this place. Never again.

I used to love shopping at this grocery store, but when you only have one cashier on busy Sunday morning I am unlikely to ever come back. There are so many other options that offer the same items.

Very rude woman working behind the customer service/returns counter.I don't usually shop at Metro market, but I came here to return some cake pans that I bought at Metro market in Germantown.First of all she did not even greet me and just continued looking down at the lottery tickets she was sorting for 3 minutes. didn't say "be with you in a minute".Secondly she reported that she was able to return one of my cake pans but was unable to return the other...Really? My receipt shows that I purchased both from Metro market.If your store is going to sell a product. All of your locations should be able to do a successful return.Very disappointing social/customer service skills.

This place has gone downhill fast. We loved this store for years. Purchased corn on the cob, had a bitter taste. Tried return, Cindy was a at service desk she never said boo it was 6 pm sharp... I said I was returning items, she hit the closed sign on the credit card machine. Wouldn't return anything. Told me to come back. Well, I did and the corn was moldy the next day. I needed to get a card and gift card about 2 wks later. Well, you can't by gift cards when service desk is closed. So no gift cards at night... Cindy again was there very rude. Said it was corporate policy. 124th and capital isn't closed at 6. I have not been back since. Spending 400 a wk there. The good staff is leaving it's so bad.

I was at your store at 9:00 this morning, put items in cart, then proceeded to check out.. No cashiers at any of the checkouts, but several employees watching the self checkout area. I was told that I would have to use self checkout, no one scheduled to work in checkouts for sometime…I don’t do self checkout…..left my cart and left the store……what awful customer service….will never return.,,,

The store is open until 10PM, but customer service closes at 6PM. I was overcharged, and they refused to correct it. I was told to come back when the service desk is open. Ridiculous! I won't be back.

It sucked, I waited to self check out today and it almost took me a hour to check out. I just saw some employees just doing circles around the store and they need people to check us out

This location in Brookfield Wi is getting worse and worse. GOODBYE! Sat AM, one cashier line open, 8 baskets in line, and half the self-checkout closed. Needed gift cards, the customer service desk was closed and this was 4 hours before closing. Mgmt has been saying they can't find workers for quite some time now. Go to Woodnams, easy in and out and prices way better. Go to Pick and save Pewaukee. Clean, open, staffed at customer service, bright and a much better option. Metro Market Brookfield is dated, poorly managed, pricey and a poor customer experience. on site management doesn't care!! Avoid this store. Lots of better options.
