The best surprise was when, after driving an hour, I walked into the store at 3:59pm, knowing the store closed at 4:00pm. Karen still allowed us service. “Anytime I have a challenging home project I head to ACE instead of the larger hardware chains like Home Depot, Lowes, etc. I get immediate help from employees that are either seasoned at their craft or have a little bit more experience. At the time of this writing, I had a plumbing problem that I just couldn't solve. I'm a mechanical engineer so I'm a hands-on d.i.y. person. I explained my problem and right away he (Doug or Charles?) understood the problem. He saved me at minimum of $80 for a plumber just showing up at my door. Thank you, "Lisbon Ave Ace Hardware" team!”
“Called at least 10 places to asked for a specific micrometer and bore gauge. Every other tool or auto store asked me what it used for or just said no right away. Called here spoke with Ricky he knew exactly what I was talking about and was able to help me find them and make sure he had them in stock. I Appreciate Ricky for know his stuff.”
“This Ace is full service. There are always helpful staff moving around and they truly do where things are and how to solve your problem. Their loading zone makes it easily to order mulch, dirt, stone, salt, etc at the checkout and then have them get it in your car. This isn't your Home Depot and that's a positive thing.”

“Good selection of almost any tool you need. Some are better quality than others but for a one time project you can't beat the price. The Pittsburg brand they sell has very good tools for cheap. Air compressors, tool boxes, drills, impacts, hand tools, and everything in between. They even have gun safes that seem real nice for a few hundred bucks. If you don't need the Milwaukee, Bosch, Dewalt, or Makita then this is the place. The only reason I gave it four stars is because they now have a paid loyalty program in order to get max discounts.”
