Lately, my experiences at Free People leave me very perplexed. Retail is still considered part of the service industry, right? I stopped in about a month ago with my pup--they are supposedly dog-friendly. That's laughable because they weren't being friendly to anyone, and my dog is ADORABLE! Another lady checking out was fawning over him and they just ignored both of us. The next time I went in--without my dog--it was to return an item sent to me by mistake. Do you think they apologized or offered to try to get me the item I actually ordered. Heck no! I have never seen women who were not super hot act this way at their job, and these girls definitely aren't hot. Bad attitude and just ok looking--that's a deadly combination in a service-oriented business. I will continue to order absolutely everything online and only use this location as a place to return things that don't work out.

i’ve been to this location twice. once to shop, in which i was never acknowledged but chalked it up to it being late in the day. the second time i came in, it was for an interview. i had applied online and was called the next day and they sounded really interested in seeing me for an interview the day after. but when i walked in they didn’t acknowledge me. and when i went up to the register and told her i was there for the interview her whole demeanor changed. she asked some other worker if she wanted to interview me to which she said no, and the original girl took me to the back, not even asking my name. she asked maybe three questions (all of which i had no way to show i knew how to do the job. just: what’s ur availability ? can u work holidays ?) and told me she had a few more interviews but would let me know by the end of the week. she barely even walked me back out front. i got an email two hours later saying i didn’t get the job. obviously they only care about looks. just a disgusting way to treat a customer and potential employee. just shop at any other store in the strip mall, the workers will actually be nice. how did you want me so bad to come in for an interview but when i show up you can’t even be bothered to remember my name or look at my resume ?

The FP at the Brookfield Corners is my favorite place to shop. Exceptional customer service, always a great selection of items with available sizes. The ladies working there are always so friendly and welcoming as well.

Love the styles. I buy most of my clothes online..but returned a item that didn't work. It was convenient for me. The sales associates were welcoming and gave me my space as I looked around. They also thanked me for stopping in when I left. One of my favorite brands!

The clothes are nice but the delivery of items has become very poor. Even when you pay for overnight or 2 day delivery you won’t get your items on time. They will give you a delivery day and then continuously change it. It took me 5 weeks once to have an item delivered. When you call they have no answers and say it might be back ordered, even when the website says it’s in stock. Like the clothes but don’t expect them to arrive anytime soon.

Employee was very rude about mask wearing. My sister has a medical condition and when she walked in the worker gave her a mask. She put it on and it was on her nose but the mask wasn't sealed over it, the employee came back and was very sassy about the ordeal asking her to completely cover her nose. The employee came back a THIRD TIME, telling her she would be kicked out. Exclusion because of medical issues is not right. There was no compassion or understanding here.

POOR customer service. In mid-September I went into Free People looking for a dress for a wedding I was attending and a jacket to go with. I wasn't greeted, no eye contact and I was in there for 20 minutes. I went up to the girl at the desk and asked if there was a dress I really liked available in another size and she said, " Is it out there? Then obviously not".I was so taken back by her demeanor, she really made me feel defeated. I just left and will never go back. Thank goodness other stores like Anthropologie and Von Maur have amazing, helpful, positive staff that helped me find what I was looking for. New coat, shoes, dress, two shirts and four candles later- I'd say it was a success- no thanks to FP.Honestly, I haven't written a review before. However, this experience was so frustrating that I figured it should be heard, After reading other comments here, I am glad I am. Seems like there is quite the trend on poor customer service at this store. It's too bad, because I love Free People. I can just order online next time.
