My 401k plans have been with Fidelity since 2001! I like the free reviews they give to ensure you are on track. I've worked with a CFP to make financial moves that fit my situation of retiring soon. Options are explained, and you can determine how you want to work with them: they advise you, they can take the lead on managing your money, etc. I like how they explained options and choices and let me decide.

I love the folks at Fidelity. Very responsive and super smart investment advisors. Great local office.

Went in to talk about my retirement plan, and the “advisor” did not seem to know what he was talking about. He was rather cold, like he wanted me to get out of there ASAP, and got defensive / condescending when I started to question what he was telling me. He just started talking in circles, so I figured I had wasted enough time after about 10 minutes and kind of abruptly left. He did not seem to care or ask why I was cutting the meeting short. Afterwards, I called the Fidelity 1-800 number and learned that things the advisor was telling me were in fact not correct. Could’ve been a costly mistake had I not done my due diligence.

I thought is going to talk to a local financial advisor, instead after a long hold and a maze of phone choices I got someone in Austin Texas who guaranteed me she would hold my hand with my investments. What a joke that was.

Over the past couple of years, I've had multiple contacts with staff at this Fidelity office. Some have been by telephone and at least 2 have been in- person by appointment. I have nothing but positive things to say about my contacts with everyone at this Brookfield office. Today, I met with James by appointment to process a rollover from another national financial services company. He was able to complete everything I needed by telephone with an agent from the other company while I was in his office. James asked several questions of the other agent that I would never have considered asking on my own. I am very pleased with the service James provided. I was also introduced to Mike who seemed to be a very nice guy.

Don't plan on getting a call back from "your broker" Have left 2 messages for Tony over the last 10 days with no call-back. Moving to another firm.

I was very impressed with Rae Ann in the Brookfield Wisconsin branch. She was knowledgeable and seemed to actually care.

Fidelity has sunk to a new low, so I'm looking for another company for my investment portfolio, I don't know how they stay in business. Useless branch in Brookfield.Calling the local branch or getting any kind of in depth customer service is pretty tough. There is a lot of shrugging of the shoulders in this area. Recently, with out asking me the turned my paper statements in electronic statements. They do this annually and expect people to catch them at it and claim it was disclosed. Bunch of BS and they know it and justify it. They definitely need to start figuring things out or they will eventualldy lose customers.by the bunches. I've notice some of young people get some attitude going from time to time. That's not helping things either. They are obviously not the only brokerage in town.

I set an appointment with a representative over a week ago. He called me to reschedule, unfortunately the time we agreed upon would not work for my partner so I tried calling back...big disappointment. Their "automatic gate keeper" needed the "5 digit extension" of the person I was trying to reach. Conveniently he never gave it to me and there was no email confirmation of our appointment, so unless you ask for their extension you're likely not going to get any way to contact them. After 3 phone calls and 25 minutes on the phone waiting for a live person, someone answered. I told her that I wanted to cancel my appointment and not reschedule. I also suggested that their younger (under the age 30) representatives take a customer service class and learn how to communicate with their potential clients. An email confirmation of our appointment would have been brilliant. Reading other reviews it seems the Brookfield location needs some adult supervision. I'll stay with Fidelity, but deal strictly with the national customer service line.

Very poor service. After scheduling a meeting with someone in advance, we were brushed off because he was busy. The guy we were given to said "I have 5 minutes and then we'll get you an account"No one helped us discuss options or plans they had, even though we repeatedly requested that. We will be looking elsewhere.
