I drive from MN to bring Rick my car. He's honest, fair, and kind. A previous mechanic said my 2007 Subaru needed a new engine, Rick was able to fix it in a few hours for a couple bucks. Life saver!

I have taken three Outbacks to Rick for head gaskets. He rocked them all. The last one he had the engine out and torn down in 1.5 hrs.! Show me a local mechanic that can do that. He's 1.5 hrs. from home but worth it. He's always had time to talk things through with me and answer all my questions.

I highly recommend Rick's auto Service, he is honest, reasonable, and provides high-quality service. He has kept our 98 Impreza RS and 97 Impreza Outback Sport on the road and running well. The 97 with 267K miles on it needed a replacement 2.2L engine which is difficult to find theses days. He was able to fine one, have it shipped, and install it for good price which really helped me out. Many local mechanics closer to home but taking your vehicle to Rick's Auto Service is worth it. Thanks Rick!

I am a garage mechanic that has rebuilt an 2007 Scion TC. I normally work on my own cars and don't let anyone touch my cars. I have a 2006 forester 2.5x 5 speed manual that was given to me as a fixer upper. I had intent to do the swap myself with a good used engine. However I came across Rick's Auto service post and the price was cheaper than if I was to do it myself, not only that but I was busy with house renovations and couldn't get it done until the summer. I was very skeptical about the listing on Craigslist but decided to give Rick a call. Rick was very knowledgeable and answered every question I had. I towed the car 140 miles from Minnesota to Rick's shop in Wisconsin, once it was fixed I was dropped off and drove it back to Minnesota. The new rebuilt engine purrs like a kitten and the clutch was super smooth. Rick uses top of the line gaskets so you don't have to worry about head gaskets leaking or any of that stuff. Rick was also willing to do a leak down test and compression test for me as well. Rick is a superb guy and knows his Subaru. I would not hesitate to call him for any service. Thanks Rick's for your service
