1300 Springdale St, Mt Horeb“My sweet 10 year old 7lb dog was in dire need of an allergy shot. She was chewing her paws absolutely raw and scratching nonstop. Her existing vet couldn’t get her in for over 2 weeks!! Their only suggestion was to give her Benadryl! I called the MH Animal Hospital this morning and they fit her in THE SAME DAY! Even though she wasn’t an existing patient! So so grateful for them. Will absolutely be switching our care to the Mount Horeb Animal Hospital!”
“I had such an amazing experience with Dr. Eric and the Veterinary staff. I adopted a dog, he ended up going down hill quickly. From the first time I met them, everyone was so kind and helpful. When my pup was sick they showed endless amounts of support, they checked in on him every few days! It was truly remarkable. I had to make a really hard decision in putting my sweet pup down and they were so comforting through the whole process. I couldn’t have asked for a better veterinary team!”
“Dr. Valenta and Adam are considerate of you, your pet and necessary diagnostics. We are able to make appointments within 1-2 days when needed and they take the time to consider which diagnostics are necessary. We appreciate their whole animal approach, they look at the pet in its entirety not just the current issue. In addition, Dr. Valenta makes follow up phone calls to check on your pet, reminder cards are sent for routine vaccination and exams. The photo shows a cut pad on our dog, Dr Valenta assessed and gave antibiotics but refrained from stitches. He was correct, the wound healed in snout 10 days.”
“I've been bringing my dogs to Four Paws for over 10 years, and I’m consistently pleased with the service. The Sauk Prairie area is lucky to have Four Paws.”

10902 Eckel Rd, Blue Mounds“Absolutely amazing people here. This vet is affordable and there care is amazing. They have never turned me away and they treat are animals like there treating my family members. 100 percent I recommend this place to everyone.”
“Pros: friendly staff, convenient pickup for meds, electric med records and appointment reminders. They take the time to make sure your dog is calm and that anything confusing is explained clearly, regardless of how much time it takes. You are able to come into the building with your dog at exam time.
Cons: not many I can think of - you do have to call before entering the building at your appointment time, which feels like a lingering covid policy; however, I can see potential value in doing so (can avoid issues with larger dogs interacting with smaller dogs which entering/exciting, etc.). This process becomes an issue if you have T-Mobile as you won't be able to call when you arrive due to lack of cell signal. P.S. no more T-Mobile for me. :-)
Tip: there's a lower entrance (left side of building) and an upper entrance (right side of building). For appointments, park on the left/lower side. For med pickup (or dog drop-off) park on the right/upper side.”
