Nice little park to take the dog for a quick walk.
Restrooms: Nice bathroom right next to the parking area. Very well kept.
Dog-friendliness: Yes, leashed.

Showing wear and tear after the heavy usage of the last 30 years. Water quality has definitely worsened with invasive exotic aquatic weeds taking over. Otherwise a nice place to spend time fishing stocked trout early in spring and a good place to take your dog for a swim and walk. Of course it's right on the famous black earth creek for wild trout fishing. Not the greatest place to take a kid fishing though there's better places.

You can fish there off the shore or you can bring a kayak. There's a much larger park nearby which is Festge. They only have pit toilets however at Salmo, not sure about Festge.

Excellent location to access black earth creek to fish for brown and rainbow trout. There is also bass and bluegill in the pond as well. There is a well-groomed trail that goes around the pond as well.
Restrooms: There is an outhouse for your restroom needs.
Dog-friendliness: Pets are welcome as long as they are kept on a leash.
Picnic area: There are picnic tables in the park for visitors to utilize.

Beautiful nature walk. The only bad thing would be the road noise, but other than that, it's a great place to walk.

Love this small county park for fishing! Has a short path and many entry points for fishing. The water is clean and so clean!

Really pressured. Hard place to fish. Cool atmosphere though.

Only visited briefly. Park looked beautiful though with ample parking and a restroom. Short walking trail next to a pond. Good for a short visit or pit stop on a bike ride.Restrooms: 4 season all-gender pit-type restroom. No sink or running water.

Love to see all the fish and go swimming it's a really cool swim at first, lol but you will get used to it. It's great for hot days out.

Great place to go fishing or just relax. Right on Black Earth Creek is you're interested in fly fishing as well. New parking lot is nice.
