The owner...an older tall man was very rude. He acted like he was bothered by me walking in the doors. No other customers the whole time I was in there and after my visit, not really surprised it wasn't busy. Sarcastic and just really unpleasant. I will be going elsewhere from now on. The store was cluttered and dark. I've been there before but I won't be going again. I'll travel from now on to get shoes. Sad as like to support local businesses.

Best place to find extra wide and custom fitted shoes from an experienced shopkeeper! Yes a bit on the pricey side, but my feet have never felt better!!

My first experience as a new Beloit resident shopping with my 2 year old for shoes. Man didn't open the door and kept pointing at me. They I realized he was pointing at the mask sign so I put my mask on. He was beligerant about the masks saying ir waa his prerogative to make people wear them. I mentioned the CDC doesn't expect children age 2 to wear them but was so rude i just turnrd around and left. I took my business to the Famous Footwear in Janesville and bought$ 200 worth of shoes from a lady who was very kind.

John is an incredible guy, need shoes he has an excellent selection. He even makes sure you are wearing the right size shoes! Any issues you have let him know and he will point you to the right shoes! Thanks John tom loves his new work boots!

Listed hours are wrong. Drove 35 minutes to get there only to find that they're closed an hour early on a Tuesday. What a joke. These people need to get with the times and learn how to use the internet or keep their store open when they say it is.

Past 15 years all my footwear I buy at Stanton, due to two foot surgeries, I refuse to ever go "cheap." With my Trump money, I went right away to Stanton at 8 a.m. this morning! When I showed him my shoes I bought in 2014 for the purpose of floor waxing for school district; his response was "These shoes are broken down!" To say the least!! I will be HEART broken if his store ever goes out of business. All out bulletin, please get in there and shop! If not just for a pair of socks. When my taxes come, I am getting another pair of SAS and SAS Sandals! To be on the safe side I might even get another pair of tennies! It is a struggle downtown to stay open. Beloit would be a total loss for great footwear , I would be in great trouble if we loose him. I am amazed at the expertise with always coming through for me to get the "right" shoe. I looked on the website said open Sunday 8-5pm so I drove 45 minutes to get there and CLOSED!! plus website right now says open.super disappointed..update your website so the next person doesnt waste a whole morning driving to your unopen store..

Need to learn better phone manners. I was taught that when someone said "thank you" at the end of a phone conversation you said " your welcome" and not just slam the phone down. Made me feel like my business was not needed.
