We move back to Wisconsin and we knew we wanted a second Newfoundland that would be able to learn from our first Newfie girl Bella. I found Rock River Newfoundlands reached out Danielle thinking it would be awhile till we had a puppy but she reached out to me letting me know there was a puppy available that was born on my fathers birthday who just passed away a few weeks prior. We figured it was a sign and brought home little Izzy in February 2022. She has been such an intelligent, silly little sweetheart ever. We definitely love our Newfoundland dogs and they will be our breed of choice and will use Rock River Newfoundlands again when the time comes for another one (hopefully not for a long time would love my girls to live a long healthy happy life).

Danielle has been such a big help in preparing for the new addition to our family that I felt compelled to leave this now. Will edit with updates about the process, but 5 stars expected throughout the process!!

My coworker got her Newfoundland here and she's is 2 yrs old. She has wonderful things to say so I felt confident getting our puppy here. The application process was thorough which made me feel good. She takes her time finding the right families. Matching dog personalities with family. The whole process was smooth and she spent a great amount of time going over everything at pick up. Willow has been wonderful. She's such a lover and my gorgeous girl. Definitely getting our next newf here again.

The pre and post pick-up experience and support for our Zannah has been great. The personality match has great. Our puppy is a great addition to our family. This is our 3rd dog and this experience has been the best. Great newfs and people to help with the experience.

Our 2 year old RR Newfoundland, Gus, is the most beautiful of all of the 4 extra large dogs we have had. He has been the easiest to train with the sweetest disposition! Everywhere he goes, he is a rock star!! And given his 180 pounds, he is the gentlest of all of our big dogs. Hope to train him as therapy dog when he gets a bit older. Rock River Newfoundland and Danielle are here for advice and support whenever we need, but with Gus’s easygoing nature, we haven’t needed much! Can’t recommend RRN enough!❤️❤️

Danielle is extremely particular regarding where her beautiful pups go! That is so refreshing and reassuring that there is lots of love in her efforts. Very high standards. She is also family for life, answering questions, catching up and helping in any way she can. Our Willow is almost 5 YO and she has been the perfect, loving, special companion in our family.

LOVE Rock River Newfoundlands! Application process was comforting knowing they actually care where their dogs are placed, only a reputable breeder would do this. They place puppies based on your home dynamics, and ours was a PERFECT match! It’s been over 2yrs and we’re still incredibly thankful for finding the right breeder for our pup! Would highly recommend!!! Danielle is also there whenever you have questions thru every step of the way, even years after adoption!

We have two Rock River babies and they are just the best dogs. We immediately fell in love with the breed with our first newfie, Arya in 2019. We added a 2nd newfie in 2021. This breeder has been amazing to work with and they are dedicated to sharing the loving and gentle temperament of the breed. Thank you for two amazing dogs

We are thrilled to be a part of the Rock River Newfoundland family! We brought home our first gal in 2018 and another in 2019! Our pups are intelligent, intuitive, loyal, and goofy. They are family. Danielle was a dream to work with - answered any and every silly question I had and cares about the dogs immensely. We are so very grateful!

We are so fortunate to be a part of the Rock River family. Ziggy is a healthy and gorgeous pup who’s parents are well cared for as fur-babies should be as an extension of Danielle’s family. She is knowledgeable, caring and puts the dogs first before everything else. Worth the wait if you truly want a healthy and cared for pup.
