**STEAR CLEAR OF THIS DEALERSHIP AT ALL COSTS**On 7/28/22, my girlfriend purchase a used 2017 FordEscape from Crocker Motors. After taking the car for atest drive and discussing the condition of the vehicle with thesalesman, we decided to try and get a loan for the car. CrockerMotors received word that my girlfriend had a credit score over 720 so they asked us to stop looking for cars and to come buy the Escape. We purchased the vehicle and added an extendedwarranty to the purchase through AUL. The very next day her cargot a blown head gasket. We immediately called Crocker Motors and they asked us to bring the car back to them. After dropping the car off, my girlfriend texted the salesman "I assume I can get my money back, right?" and the salesman asked her to call them immediately, which she did. When they insisted that they would make this right and pay to repair the damage to the vehicle, we did not request our money back and let them do the repairs. The salesman told us that they needed to do the repairs themselves and not to go through the warranty company because "the warranty had not started yet since it was only 1 day after purchase". We later found out from the warranty company that this wasn't true; the warranty went into place as soon as the car was purchased. We also found out after they took the car that the car was NOT sent to an actual repair shop, but to someone the owner claimed "does work for them".6 months and less than 5000 miles later, her car hadANOTHER blown head gasket. This time, we went through AUL'sclaims department and used a reputable repair shop (MarksAutomotive in Loves Park) that was suggested by the warranty company. When the mechanic pulled the head off, he immediately saw that there was significant damage done to the engine block during the previous head gasket repair. The block was ground down by what looked like a handheld grinder and compromised the integrity of the engine block, requiring a complete engine replacement. The warranty company denied the replacement due to the engine being damage by something other than an internally lubricated part. Crocker Motors denies all accountability and won't even tell us where they sent her car for "repairs". The rude and disrespectful manner in which the owner, Dan, treated me when I called him to tell him what the problem was, what his mechanic did to the engine, and what I expected him to do about it was downright unprofessional as he got verbally aggressive with me and laughed at the issue. Dan Crocker then told me to file a report with the BBB, the Wisconsin Department of Transportation, and obtain legal representation because it wasn't his problem and that he wasn't giving us a cent. Regarding this crooked behavior, I indeed filed reports with both agencies and also contacted the Wisconsin Attorney General as well. This is definitely not a Beloit business to trust.

I bought a car from Dan Crocker that was listed on his website as a "special deal". The vehicle was about $1500 under KBB value. Three weeks and $5000 worth of repairs later I found out why it was a "special deal". Dan Crocker knowingly sold me a bad vehicle. Why else would he have sold it to me so cheaply. Dan Crocker is not a man of integrity.

Horrible had a vehicle since November it’s been in shop every week everything code came up had to fix while on a trip to Kentucky engine blew timing chain had it sent to shop adjuster said cannot give money because the warranty that was suppose to be so great does not cover a vehicle that’s considered a truck. So now this paperweight of a vehicle is stuck in southern wisconsin. Never buy from these people unless you want nothing but a headache

I stopped in with no credit, no plan for a down payment, just curious if I could afford a 2016 fusion I had seen on the lot a few days before. I’m glad to say it’s currently parked in my driveway thanks to great salesmanship from Dan Crocker and his willingness to work with me. It was the easiest car buying experience I’ve ever had and would highly recommend anyone who’s in need of a quality used car to stop in

I just recently purchased my 2nd car from Crockers. Notice I said 2nd. I like the fact that they're not pushy, they typically have a decent variety of vehicles to choose from, and the prices are reasonable. I would recommend that you at least check them out! Thanks again Bill for helping me get into another great car!

They had a bunch of cars. Some needed work and others look like they were there for a very long time. Customer service was okay as we had to find the sales person.
