Purchased 2 carving DVD's. One wouldn't play so I phoned in to ask for a replacement. I was told they'd get back to me. Never did. I called back several times and was told they were checking what stock they had remaining and would get back to me.Never did. Finally called back to request a refund for the defective disc and was told it would be issued. Never did. Contacted BBB, but not very confident that this will accomplish anything. Lousy company, terrible customer service and no integrity ... Buyer Beware.

The attached pictures show:1-Date/proof of order placed – August 16th2-Notice of Date shipped – August 16th3-Copy of invoice indicating I paid $9.21 for Priority Mail4-Copy of Shipping label indicating it was shipped UPS Ground5-Copy of UPS notice that it was to be delivered on Wednesday August 23rd6-Bottom of my order showing all my shipping options and UPS ground is not listed.7-Acknowledgement by Cherry Tree that it was delivered via UPS on August 23rd.I called Cherry Tree on the 22nd at 1:47 PM to find out why I did not have my order and discussed the issue with a nice lady. After checking with her boss and I was told that there would be NO REFUND for the Priority Mail That it was all the shippers fault. Case closed. They refused to discuss this anymore. I clearly paid for and ordered Priority Mail and got UPS Ground. I am a very small customer to them and order occasionally and I suppose that’s why they blew my off.Cherry Tree clearly shipped the order incorrectly. I believe I am due the entire $9.21 refunded since they shipped it their cheapest way which was an option I did not have. Cherry Tree wouldn’t budge. The issue here is honesty and ethics and now we know the integrity of the business.

At this point I'm not sure this is a legitimate business. I placed an order in Feb. they charged my card but now it's May and I still haven't received anything. They do not communicate and thus far havnt refunded my money despite asking several times. DO NOT do business with this company. search other reviews and they will have similar experiences.

If I could give them less than 1 star, I would. I ordered a set of plans and they still have not shipped after 2 weeks. When I contact them they keep giving me the run around that they are checking. This company sells things they don't have and can't deliver. That is a terrible way to do business. Use caution ordering.

Company was very responsive when I sent questions/emails. The whirligig kit arrived quickly and looks nice. Haven't put it together yet, but the pieces look good.

I recently bought a Pantograph online for $18.95 and I was quoted a shipping charge of $6.65 to ship the item to California . I paid the total of $25.60 through PayPal and I received an order confirmation email. The next day, I received a second email informing me that my order was upgraded to a "ready for shipping" status. Two days later, I received a third email informing me that I need to pay an extra $2.97 shipping charge ( a total shipping cost of $9.62) claiming that, due to the length of the Pantograph, the $6.95 shipping charge they quoted me was not enough, as if they never sold this item before and they didn't know the length of of the Pantograph package. I refused to pay the extra shipping charge and told them that any respectful company that cares about their reputation would honor the cost they quote their customer in the first place. Apparently, Cherry Tree Toys is not a respectful company and they don't care about their customers satisfaction! In response to this questionable conduct, I cancelled my order and demanded a refund. By the way, they went back and increased the shipping charge again and now they are charging $11.40 for the same item! Be aware when buying from these people, they don't know what they are doing and they can go back and increase what they charged before shipping your item! Apparently, its very normal to change their shipping estimates after the fact, as one their customer service people told me. What kind of a respectful business is this!!! I believe you would be better off buying what you need elsewhere!

We needed clock inserts for vintage crystal clocks that we have -- the original inserts took proprietary batteries which are no longer available so we ordered 2 beautiful elegant black clock inserts -- they were as described -- Cherry Tree shipped them quickly and our vintage clocks look better than what was in there originally. Thank you Cherry Tree Toys we know we will be using you again.

WORST COMPANY EVER! I purchased and built four Noah's Ark Carousel plans, including musical movements. After completing the construction and connecting the musical movements it was apparent that the animals were moving backwards! The picture on their webpage and the expensive plans are incorrect! For almost 3 months, I have requested a refund and that Cherry Tree correct the picture and plans. Their entire staff (3 people?) is totally inept and unwilling to help in anyway. The "boss" would not talk to me because "she is busy working on the catalog," "she is cutting wood," and "she does not talk to anyone on the phone." This company does not care about the consumer in anyway. If they get your money - it's over. They have no idea, or interest, in customer service. They are unprofessional, dishonest, and unethical. One star is one too many stars for this poor excuse of a company. If I could have given them zero or minus stars, I certainly would have done so.

Bought dinghy so called plans. Total rip off. No material list, no sub assemby drawings, no dimensions, and no instructions, and horrible customer service. Terrible company.

I ordered and received four mini- clock movements from Cherry Tree Toys. One of the clocks did not work. I reported this and was told by Cherry Tree to return the non-working clock to them. I returned the clock, paid the postage which was as much as the clock, and never got a response. I followed up with an email and never received a reply.... Read More

Ordered three dowels a week ago and paid extra for priority mail. They were needed to complete a project last week. It is a week later and tracking says they are not shipped. Don't bother ordering from these guys. They don't care.

To anyone who orders small whirligig hubs (SKU 440442 and 440443)be aware that the predrilled holes are not the same size so those of you who want to insert brass tubing will have to re-drill the holes. I’ve called and apparently I’m the only customer whose ever complained. I was told that the only solution was to return them.
