I had taken my husky Twila, who was only 11 weeks old at the time, to the emergency vet thinking she'd had an impaction. They gave her an IV, after she decided to poop on their floor for the first time in 2 days, and sent us home. I really didn't feel like something was right though and the way she was staring at me even at the emergency vet. She worsened dramatically so I called my vet and he doesn't do major surgeries but he recommended Badger, we'd called other places and no one could get her in, and the emergency hospitals had quoted us an exorbitant amount. I'll forever be grateful they were able to squeeze her into an appointment and surgery, and that they gave me realistic expectations. Also thank you for the extra meds, she was trying to run around afterwards and on day 3, broke her cone, and 2 more following. She's still doing good over a year later, Thank you all so much , here she is snuggling in the blankets after running around in this cold with me all because you all gave her a chance. Thank you!!!

All about the money, not about your pets since they were bought out. Double the price of every other vet clinic in Beloit. Short staffed and can't keep doctors at this location. Since Dr Galen Heyne (who was wonderful)won't be working there anymore, I won't be back to the Beloit location. Quoted $109 for a rabies vaccine that is only $16-29 other places, because they force you to pay $80 for a.wellness check up besides the $29 vaccine, even though they saw my pet 3 months ago. I don't recommend Badger Vet.

This is the most impressed I've been with a Vet in a long time. Our cat had a tick we couldn't remove, but we didn't know that's what it was. They had us send a photo, identified it, and got us in that day. And they didn't charge for the removal! That's almost unheard of.

My cat was very sick and needed immediate care, even though their schedule was completly booked and very busy Dr. Prohaska went out of her way to see my cat and treat her. Dr. Prohaska was very supportive, knowledegable and caring. I was so relieved that my cat was treated in time of need. The staff was very kind and supportive as well. My cat is now on her way to recovery thanks to all the staff at Badger Veterinary clinic.

We just attended our first appointment with our new puppy this past week and everyone was so friendly. Everyone from the receptionist all the way to the vet herself was kind, gentle, and welcoming. We’re very pleased with the first impression and looking forward to continuing our vet care with Badger.

Our basset had to have emergency surgery this morning. We are so appreciative they squeezed her in. We thank Dr. Allen and all of the vet techs that are so caring and loving towards Abbie. We trust their expertise and our precious baby in their hands. We won’t take our fur babies anywhere else!

Staff is great; friendly and caring.Update: 5 years later; they are still very friendly, caring, and professional staff. I trust them completely! Also love the remodeled reception/waiting area. The color is welcoming and calming. The new Badger Logo on the wall is very nice, and the random paw prints around the room are cheerful! ❤️

I was referred to Badger Vet-Beloit by a coworker when I first moved to Beloit. From the very first visit, to my most recent the other day, I received the best care possible everyone. Emergencies were handled with the care and compassion of people who treat my quadrupeds like their own. (That is saying something in this day and age.)

They took time to try and figure out what was wrong with my dog. They were also able to get her in when my own vet couldn't

My cat was prescribed prescription diet food. Ive been feeding it to him about two years now. It is very expensive and Badger will only carry the small 3# bag. I prefer the 17# bag because it is much more cost effective. They decided to not order the large bag for me anymore because it wasnt sold often enough to justify stocking it and it is too much of a hassle for the person to order it for me. So I said fine Ill buy the small bag and order the food elsewhere. So I went in to buy the food today and I stood at the counter for 5 minutes and was ignored. A clerk was on the phone the whole time and she didnt even acknowledge me. A woman in the office caught my eye but pretended I wasnt there. So I just walked out of there. The customer service is horrible and they need to be called out.

Everyone was extremely nice during our first visit - from front desk to the receptionist. They were very loving to our furbaby who was very scared, but they were very kind and gentle with her. Kindly petting her and talking to her to keep her calm. They did not make us feel rushed or like we were an inconvenience. They did not strike her because she wouldn't cooperate when they were trying to clip her nails, but she wouldn't let them. The vet calmly and clearly explained things to us and provided us with options to allow us to chose which path we wanted to take for our baby's care. Her assistant did a great job explaining things to us, comforting our pet and supporting the vet. The front desk did not make us feel rushed, and were very kind. They called us when they were running behind prior to our arrival and provided us with altenate times if we decided we couldnt wait...the building and rooms are very clean, both inside and out. Prices were fair, and comparable to other vet clinics,...actually, we had more work done at this hospital due to a food allergy our fur baby developed, along with vaccines, and the bill was slightly lower than our previous vet clinic. The entire time we were there, we felt like we had been going there for years. We are so glad we took a chance and went with this hospital. We would highly recommend you give them a chance. You won't regret it!

300 bucks per dog for 1 year shots??? Every other vet in the area is less than $100. Do your diligence folks, shop around before deciding here, you'll save hundreds.
