“I visited your store yesterday to return a car battery that I ordered online and had delivered the same day on 01/27/25. Unfortunately, it wasn’t what I needed. I had the digital receipt in my email, on my account on your website, and in the order confirmation emails.
When I attempted to return it, an employee scanned the return barcode, but the system incorrectly stated that the purchase was over 90 days old—even though I had clear proof that I had just bought it last week from this exact store online. Another employee, who I believe was the manager, then assisted me and said he needed the receipt number or transaction number. However, neither of those numbers were on the digital receipt, any of the emails, or even in my account on your website.
I repeatedly showed my emails, my account on your website, and my digital receipt, but the employee kept insisting he needed the receipt number or transaction number without offering any guidance on where to find it. Instead of helping, he seemed disengaged, even picking at his nails while I was trying to explain my situation. He did though show me the computer screen where it kept saying that it needed the transaction number or receipt number and explained that he wants to help me but needs the transaction number or receipt number. Frustrated and unable to get a resolution, I left.
Once I got home, I used the chat feature on your website to contact customer service. Within three minutes, the representative provided me with the transaction number. If the employees at the store—especially the manager—had been properly trained to direct customers to the chat feature for online purchase returns or would’ve contacted customer service themselves to try to help or someone else that new where to find it instead of not helping find where it is at all or explaining where it is, it would have saved me a lot of time and frustration. As a single mom, I needed my money back immediately for my kids and me, and this experience was incredibly disappointing.

“Before you read my review about Trick Chassis, please understand that under normal circumstances I don’t write reviews after I make a purchase. This is probably due to my “old School” upbringing, if you can’t say something nice, don’t say anything at all.I spent quite a bit of time investigating different merchants, their products, and reviews, then I placed an order with Trick Chassis for a ford 9” differential (for my 89 Camaro RS.) The kit I ordered was a differential housing with axles and brakes. When the order was received, the first thing I noticed was the quality of their work. The welding was excellent, I can say that with total confidence because of my background in welding aerospace components. The next thing I noticed was the cleanliness of the part, there was very minimal cleanup to perform prior to beginning the assembly work. Now things don’t always go as we plan, and this was no exception. There were two minor hiccups with the order. The response to those hiccups tells the tale about Trick Chassis. The axle retaining plates were accidentally omitted from the shipment, when I contacted Trick Chassis about the two missing plates the issue was resolved at lightning speed.The next issue was not Trick Chassis fault, Strange Engineering supplies their axle kits, and appears to drop ships direct to the customer (according to the invoice). Because of this Trick Chassis had no way to know the axle bearing collar locks were incorrect. When I notified (emailed) Trick Chassis they answered my email in under 24 hours, they identified the correct parts and sent them out as a priority (Trick Chassis didn’t try to pass me off to Strange Engineering). The way Trick Chassis responded to these issues is not something I am accustomed to anymore. Like I told Alex, it’s like taking a step backwards in time to when customer service was job one, and it makes Trick Chassis one of a kind not one of many.In my opinion if you research the product you are interested in, take time to read reviews, and compare pricing, the road will lead you to Trick Chassis.”

“I contacted Budweiser Motors because I was having issues with my car on my way home from work. I spoke with Shawn and he allowed me to come in right away to see what the issue was. When I arrived he hooked my car up to get an idea of what was happening. My battery was running at a lower voltage and I chose to get it replaced. While waiting, I called Chevrolet customer service to see if the bumper to bumper warranty covered that, they informed me that it didn't. I ended up paying for the service. After I got home, I got an email from the customer service representative stating the she made a mistake and my battery was covered under that warranty. I proceeded to call Budweiser and Karla answered the call. While speaking with Karla and informing her that I had the bumper to bumper warranty on my car and confirmation from Chevrolet that the battery was supposed to be covered she chose to try to argue that the warranty did not cover this and acted like I didn't know what I was talking about. She then told me to forward the email to Budweiser for review and someone would contact me. I did in fact forward that information. Shawn eventually called me back about 30 minutes later and apologized for the mistake of not checking into the warranty while I was there earlier. He told me to come in the following day so he could collect the information he needed off the battery and he was going to have a refund check waiting for me. THANK YOU, Shawn for making the experience better! You deserve 5 stars. Karla...you deserve only 1 star, and that is being generous.”
