  I commissioned a Northwoods Casket Company modern walnut and cherry urn -- three family members had planned for their ashes to be in the same niche. The process of designing it, confirming the dimensions, payment from two sources, timeline and pick up were all handled in a professional manner and they were ahead of schedule every step of the way. Note, the inside of the urn is unfinished (sanded smooth inside, but not finished, joining hardware visible), which I just hadn't expected but my husband and I are the only ones who will ever see that. The outside is clean, modern, and attractive. The pairing of walnut with cherry accents, that my family requested, had not been offered by the company. However Northwoods liked the look so much they plan to include it in their regular line. It was a pleasure to work with Northwoods Casket Company.

  My husband had always said he wanted to be buried in a pine box. Northwoods Caskets provided just the right one to comfortably fulfill his wishes by our family. Getting the card indicating that 100 trees will be planted in loving memory of him really touched the entire family. This is such a wonderful way of honoring those who have passed. Thank you!

  We were fortunate enough to get a tour of Northwoods Casket Company and it was so interesting! Jonas, the owner, showed us around and taught us about the industry and how he and his family have been growing the business for the last 15 years.They take great pride in their workmanship and it shows! They use wood only from Wisconsin and American made products.

  We recently picked one of your caskets for my father. He loved the outdoors, planted many trees on our family farm, and was a Wisconsin native. We laid him to rest on earth day. It was meant to be. Thank you for making such a beautiful, locally made product with a great sustainable business practice.
