The experience started off ok. The truck I purchased seemed great on the test drive. Got to the dealer at about 2:30 didn’t end up leaving until around 6pm. They didn’t start the detail till after I was done with paperwork. Low and behold they messed up on the paperwork for my trade in pay off amount. Even though I gave them a higher number for them to come back and tell me it was a lower number. After giving them 7k down they bullied me for another 1000 even though it was there mess up. On top of that, was promised a full tank of fuel, didn’t get. The truck needed brakes, so great inspections they do. They salesmen told me up and down all recalls were taken care of even after I questioned the carfax saying “open recall”, but guess what, it does have an open recall. Would never do business with them again.

The paperwork process was easy, they helped us a lot! We are very please for how they manage the whole transaction.Just buyer be aware, I asked my sales man about any recalls and he stated that all recalls were taken care of. 5 days later when I got the truck in California I got a call from the dealer saying my truck had a recall that they didn’t take care but I can send the truck back so they can fix it. ….like if shipping cars out of state were cheap.They deserve a 5 star but just because of that I have to take 2.

Do not buy a used car from Summit. We purchased a used Jeep from Summit Beaver Dam. It broke down less than 3 weeks later due to an issue that should have been obvious if it had been inspected with any level of care prior to putting it on the lot. (Large air leak into the turbo). 10 days after that, it broke down for good. This time the engine needs to be replaced (for $8k). It also appears that we paid about $3k over blue book value. We will have invested more than double the amount that the vehicle is worth once it’s fixed. And foolishly, we did not purchase the additional warranty. Shame on us. They take no responsibility for their negligent “inspection” or the problems that their oversight has caused. Learn from our mistakes and shop for used cars elsewhere.

We bought a '21 Golf GTI from Dave P. He took a deposit to hold it for 10 days until we could make the 180-mile round trip. He was excellent to deal with professionally and is a nice guy personally. I'm glad to have gotten to know him.

Recently purchased a car from summit ford, I couldn’t have had a better experience! Lexi was knowledgeable, and helped made the buying process a smooth experience. Danah also was very knowledgeable and helpful. Overall they both made you feel comfortable and at home!Great people working at a great dealership.

Tim C. was amazing, he helped me get the perfect vehicle for myself. He was engaging and made the experience smooth and relaxing. Great conversationalist to really make you feel comfortable. And Danah was extremely thoughtful and made sure to explain everything which was fantastic. Both are amazing employees and wonderful people.

Honestly one of the best experiences I've had with a dealership! Well equipped staff didn't hesitate to explain terms and conditions. Overall I wouldn't hesitate to get another vehicle through them!

Jamie did one hell of a job putting up with me and Ford having ordered a 2022 F550 cab chassie and not receiving it then having to reorder as a 2023. There were some hiccups along the way and were and are being taken care of. I am thankful that I stuck with it and didn't bail.Thanks for everything Jamie

Hands down the best automobile buying experience from the sales staff to the top. 'Buying vehicles is my least favorite thing to do. Summit was exceptional....none of the typical run around of auto dealers. Straightforward and fair. They went above and beyond helping me choose the truck that meets my specific needs.

Working with Summit was excellent! Lexi, Danah, and Giselle all helped me out a lot getting a bronco I waited 2 years for after a bad experience with another dealership. It was well worth the large amount of travel and I’d do business with them again any day.

we went to summit automotive in beaver dam just to look what was new and the next day drove off with a new ford edge, we had no intention of buying a new vehicle but the deal they gave us we had to get one. the sales staff there are best we ever dealt with in all the years we have been buying cars.Zack Graston our salesman was the best and made sure we were happy and explained everything about the vehicle and went out of his way to make sure we were happy. and Josh the sales manager made sure we got the deal we wanted and made sure we were happy with it. we can't forget Danah Rosenmeier the F&I manager who did all the paper work and warranty information and explained everything we needed to know. we can't thank all 3 of them enough for the deal we got and are very thankful to all of them. Zac and Danah went out of there way to spend there time and make sure we were satisfied with our new edge. for anyone looking to purchase a vehicle you won't find a better place . the staff there are the best and they go out of there way to give you the deal you won't regret! thanks again to Summit Ford and we sure enjoy our new edge. They bought my car and Kenny was GREAT to work with. Very very easy process and very fair price. They picked up the car and fed ex'd back a part I forgot to take out. Could not have been easier. Great experience. Highly recommend!!!

Brennon sold my daughter her first car! Superb costomer service and communication! Very accommodating to our schedule. Danah (finance) was so informative and tolerant of all things teenager! Buying a car is stressful this was NOT AT ALL.

Expected more from a small town dealership.Bought a very beautiful van with the help of salesman named Brennon. Very prompt communication and eager to help us with a sale. We had some hiccups along the way, but ultimately were able to make a deal. Unfortunately, after driving the van home, we laid back seats down and found that the carpeting and vent covers underneath the third row of seats were completely broken/ripped/disconnected. The carpeting was not attached to vehicle floor at all and where it was supposed to be attached, the attachment points had ripped through the carpet. We also found the handle to adjust the rear passenger seat sitting in a cup holder... rather than being attached to seat to be able to adjust the seat. As we got home after business hours of the dealership, I emailed photos to dealership and asked for a remedy. Not even 12 hours after the purchase, I was told that it was our responsibility to look over the vehicle completely to identify if there was any concerns and that these issues "could have been discussed prior to purchase of vehicle." Unfortunately, the dealership was unwilling to provide any additional help or remedy. A phone call to sales manager, Jeff, was respectful, but disheartening that they were unwilling to remedy any issue.Bought this van from a small town dealership to avoid the hassles of larger dealerships. I purchased from a dealership as I wanted to be able to trust the vehicle I was purchasing was sound, complete, safe, and no shoddy aspects. I expected quality was focused on more than quantity, but apparently at this dealership, when the deal is done, the dealership is done.Lessons learned:1) Don't rely on the dealership's inspection-- complete your own, unrelenting evaluation and inspection of every aspect of the vehicle.2) Don't trust that Google reviews are the sole reason to trust a dealership.
