“My truck has always been really important to me and carries a lot of sentimental value along with being a necessary item for where I live. The first person messed up my timing chain inside my engine by not replacing all the necessary parts in order for the engine to last. When I called Anthony and explained that some of the parts were new but something was still wrong he was very kind and said that he would look at my vehicle and even sent me the amount that I would owe in order for it to be repaired. He fixed everything within a 2-day timetable which is pretty amazing! Between Anthony and Fred I'm not sure how I would have gotten my truck back. Thank you so much. With the weather changing it has been amzing having my truck and not breaking my bank trying to fix it.”

“After my husband retired from Active Duty, he embarked on his second career in this area in Wisconsin. Needless to say starting over is never fun! You have to establish everything anew and that includes your family mechanic!
This always makes me nervous because car repairs can just be pricey! Than there is the worry you will get some know- it- all mechanic that makes incorrect diagnosis and fixes the wrong thing or does a terrible job fixing it only for it to have to be taken back! No one wants to deal with any of that!
Well, I went on a Google hunt and I read so many for this area and surrounding. And the Griswold Automotive reviews stood out to me! Honest, fair, great people & quality work. Was a consistent review throughout my reading. All points I of course was searching for! This was almost 7 yrs ago now, crazy to think how fast time has passed. We took the chance that day! and we are very happy we did. We own three vehicles now, all paid off and they all show their age a bit, but still in great shape but needless to say with ware and tear on any vehicle we have paid our fair share of maintenance and repair over the years.
But we are happy to! Because we know we are getting exceptional service! being customers of this shop. They are fair priced and provide us with a quality outcome of service every time.
Also, Paul (the owner) is just a very humble and kind man. And his staff are just the same.I have had everything from, oil changes, simple sensors, water pumps engine oil cooler, malfunctioning windows, radiator issues, tune up, struts etc done at this shop and all done right.
Recently this winter my radiator had gone out on my jeep, my heat died on my kiddos school run. Of course wisconsin was giving -20 of all days! I called them and Paul had me take it in same day, diagnosed it right than, come to find out, it was a manufacturers defect on the radiator replaced 2yrs prior, their supplier covered the parts and labor for my warranty! Thank goodness, because it was just so unexpected, absolutely no warning. Nonetheless, They fixed it for me immediately.
They didn't have to fit me into the schedule like that, but Paul did! It was done the following day! And let me tell you these guys are busy the 4 days a week they are open! So I appreciate them getting me back on the road. Because as everyone knows mom/wife life without a vehicle is not fun at all puts a halt on everything! So I appreciate them more than they know! So with all that said.....
When we embarked on civilian life again those almost 7 yrs ago, we took a chance! And we are glad we did! Now when our cars break they are a household name to us! I reccomend them to everyone looking for their family mechanic or just An all around honest, fair and quality Mechanic shop for whatever you need!

“I ended up getting something in my tire. Was not able to get the tire replaced until the following Wednesday. At the place I purchased the tires. I stopped at Johnny's 66 today Friday May 2nd. At the end of the day they were cleaning up. And we're still able to help me by putting the spare tire on. And checking the air pressure in all the other tires. Fast friendly service by the three lady's working there. I'm so careful they were able to help me.”

“I was visiting my relatives in DeForest and our 2019 Honda Pilot Rear Driver side tire's pressure was very low. Upon their inspection, they did not find anything wrong with the tire and they simply inflated the tire. Despite their busy schedule due to low staffing, they fit me in, and they even changed the cap for valve stem and stayed after hours so I can pick up the car.In addition, the service was free of charge.Great service and I highly recommend this place.”
